Welcome to today's banana skin.  Winning is a habit ... yet so is not winning.  Only hubris can see us fail.

We need to go thru them... over them and  round them.

Start vardy barnes and under (I presume Ricky will not start)

Tell madders to shift the ball... not fall over looking for a foul. Youri must play... and look for long ball ... b4 short to madders.

Would like a positive mindset from BR for this game.... 3-4-3 doesn’t do this as too often we have 5 defenders all pinned back and the gap between midfield and attack is too big. 
The stats show this , every man and his dog now knows we have created fewer chances than any team in the PL this season..

it is all too Puelesque for my liking.

would like to see Under, Barnes , Maddison and Vardy on the pitch..

SU are there for the taking so a positive 4-4-2 or 4-3-3 and take the game to them. Anything less than a win is unacceptable.

Yeah they left us a lot of space last season, especially in behind. Everybody raves over their "overlapping centre backs" but once they lose the ball there is a lot of space. See Vardy's first goal at Bramall Lane last season, he was virtually in a one on on situation.

This game will either be like villa away last season in the league or Norwich away last season I just think it's going to be like the latter I am not confident God hope I am wrong for the saving our Sunday evening

The stats on Sheffield Utd is terrible. If we don’t win today there needs to be some serious questions.

Any of those 3 are my preference In that order. 3rd one is probably unfair as Barnes deserves to start but formation wise even that would give us a good threat. 
If we play 5 at the back AGAIN then we will not win and we’ll deserve not to and people will wonder why as usual and I’ll go and bang my head against BRs brick wall in his garden.

I think Under could be more of a nuisance from the bench today, especially if they're chasing the game.

I can’t see him abandoning three at the back until he has cags fit or wilf can start (and he may still compensate by playing both wilf and papy)

So, Blades have had ten unsuccessful goes at winning a PL game? I think we all know how this one plays out. I’ve cancelled all my plans for this evening and just popped out to top up on single malt. 😞

Hopefully we have worked on defending and attacking set pieces. Could be a very tricky game. As others have suggested 433 or 442 please.

My second choice - any performance and a win please.

 

I have no other choices.

 

SUFC haven't won a PL game or kept a clean sheet so far this season. I'm therefore worried.

Just attack them straight from go. No sitting back or being passive like a repeat of Fulham. I want to see us attack and run at opposition players.
