Basically a few brief glimpses of what we’ve already seen, just they’re in use now.

And a blink and you’ll miss it shot of Cags’ massive back tattoo of a lion, because of course he has a massive back tattoo of a lion.

Thanks, never seen from this angle... love the two houses jammed in the corner lol

They're on a large pallet awaiting collection.

Wife was saying that the Facebook spotted group was kicking off last night about the light pollution, citing that in their planning application they said there wouldn't be any, or at least kept to a minimum.

Had I be in ownership of a Facebook account, I would have defended our glorious club and told them they should be happy that Leicester City chose Seagrave as their home and should feel their miserable lives have been enlightened.... but I don't have an account, so I didn't.

Do local Leicestershire residents actually stand in their back gardens on Winter's evenings in January and check and then complain about light pollution?   Is the Moon blocked out by Seagrave Local Council?  I thought the Austrians in my village were odd, but compared to this lot they are perfect neighbors.

That would be lazy anyway and not a worthy defence. You need to go full town cryer, bell and everything and stand on their village green this Saturday announcing it to the ungrateful bastards.

To be fair if you were a keen astronomer, where the winter months were your bread and butter, you'd be pretty gutted with the lights.

In fairness to some of the residents, the actual areas which have made the complaint, you could see the training ground very clearly... doesn't bother me though, fills me with tears of joy to see our team putting the graft in late on. Can only assume some of them are not Leicester fans.

Wih all due respect the luminescent calcs would've been taken into account at planning stage along with the indoor pitch which is why there are deadlines for "lights out" to all flood lit areas. The locals need to be told to bugger off sharpish so that they dont make a habit of this complaining nonsense to the planning dept. The LA need to be strong in their response to the locals that everything is as it should be and that no duplicate complaints in the future will be considered.

A little bit of sympathy for the locals. If it wasn't for covid and people were allowed in there'd have been 2 or 3 hundred cars there and a lot of noise. When they bought their houses they thought they were moving to a quiet village. It's not unnatural to be a little miffed.

Genuine question and Whwmy is probably the man for the answer .Has this affected house prices in Seagrave?

My brother lives in a very nice place in Kirby Mallory and they used to get a season ticket every year for the race circuit as a sort of thankyou for putting up with the racetrack on your door step.
