Given the new lockdown do you think the players will move into the training ground? Plenty of bedrooms!

It’s an option but I doubt their families would be too happy. Single guys like madders might and it would mean those fellas who would otherwise be on their own can socialise within their work bubble after training is over. Nice to have a pool etc on site ....

Yeah that's what I was thinking. Not a bad place to be locked down 😊

Who'd be a Footballer given a choice, Such a tough life especially playing for Leicester.  Good luck to them.

Potentially stay there night before a game so they know they aren’t breaking rules? Not sure how much they can demand them to live there haha

I didn't mean they demand them to live there just that some that are on their own, particularly from other countries with no family, may prefer it?

Food cooked for them, pool, sauna, gym, plenty of outside space, games room. I wouldn't mind!

As of this morning they will not be playing golf.I hate seeing bunkers raked like that looks so artificial and as a greenkeeper or manager I can imagine just a handful of the same people playing every day would not be a very satisfactory job . No juniors, ladies, social and competitions it would all seem a bit odd.

My heart bleeds for the poor greenkeeper.

Surely as it’s private and part of the training centre they could argue pairs of players are playing golf as part of their training regime !

if I had a course in my back garden then I’d be able to play on it .....

It's all part of the training for the turf academy team... Teach groundstaff of all types their trade.

They should mow some fancy patterns on the roof :)

Some lovely stripes there.   Keeping all the grass areas/pitches weed free in such a rural environment is going to be a job for the under 18's.
