Turf academy is up and running now. They'll be researching and trialling turf for sport, could see some decent money coming our way. 

 

 

 

 

Little video and of it as well. Really sounds like we're trying to push to have the best knowledge around. Word "independently" made me think we'll be aiming to be sourced in to help big grounds etc get their sports turf up to scratch if they're struggling

 

Interview and more in depth on the sports turf academy if anyone is interested

Interesting reading some of the comments coming from the England squad about their time at St George's Park. Seems that big efforts have been made to give it a more 'homely' feeling and less dull and boring for the players to pass the time. 

 

This is the first pre-season to be held at Seagrave so the players will be spending more time there than ever before. We know from the pictures of its magnificence but wonder how the players like spending time in it? 

 

I suppose they could always play golf if they get bored (don't think that's possible at St George's Park).

How good does this place look in the training vids. Seeing the balconies in the background shows the sheer magnitude of the building. I can’t believe how good this place is!

It doesn’t say there’s an outbreak at the training ground, just an ‘issue’ at Leicester.

No outbreak at the training ground. It’s some players have tested positive and haven’t been able to report back yet.

Yep. The stats don‘t lie.

(statistics correct up to end of 2020-2021 season.

That slip road is indeed horrible, but the report says 'between Anstey and Birstall', which implies it was further west.
