Leicester_Loyal Posted 3 January 2021 Posted 3 January 2021 Don't care about the cups this year, except for the EL. Play a second team and if we win happy days, if not more rest for the players. 4

The flip side with your side is that we could test Perez up front and if he does well he can be Vardy's understudy instead of Nacho. 2
Popular Post Hales Posted 3 January 2021 Popular Post Posted 3 January 2021 I think he has to start Praet, Perez and Under. 6
winteriscoming Posted 3 January 2021 Posted 3 January 2021 Ward Morgan Soyuncu Amartey Castagne Thomas Mendy Praet Hamza Perez Nacho That’s the side I’d go with. 3

Popular Post coolhandfox Posted 3 January 2021 Popular Post Posted 3 January 2021 We should still go for the FA CUP. We have a the strongest seconded string we have had for a while. 9

That team, bar Castange, who I'd swap for Under. Not a wing back but needs minutes, and to earn his place by chipping in defensively.

Spudulike Posted 3 January 2021 Posted 3 January 2021 Be bloody typical if we win the FA Cup this season as we can't go. 1
Hales Posted 3 January 2021 Posted 3 January 2021 Should definitely go for this. Go strong, kill the game then sub and rest players. He has to start Praet, Under and Perez for their morale. Win is an absolute must. No fixture congestion either, there is a decent gap between games.
Raw Dykes Posted 3 January 2021 Posted 3 January 2021 I think I'd go with something like this: Ward Ricardo/JJ Amartey Soyuncu Thomas Mendy Tielemans Praet Under Perez Nacho I'd love for us to finally add an FA Cup to the cabinet, but I think there are bigger priorities this season, and our 2nd string should have too much for Stoke, anyway. I think it's a great opportunity to give minutes to players who need them. Don't know which of Perez or Under should play on the left, but those are the two that I think should play. I doubt Hamza will play if he's going out on loan. Hopefully, it will be a good opportunity for Nacho to build some confidence.

RowlattsFox Posted 3 January 2021 Posted 3 January 2021 Difficult one because I want to give players opportunities but also want to make sure we win the game. 1

Guest SO1 Posted 3 January 2021 Posted 3 January 2021 I don't care if we lose. Europa and the League are what matter......there I said it.

Yeah I didn't mean in terms of just this one game, but the overall season. If we win this we'll be through to the 4th round and then we'll have 5 games in a 15 day period at the end of the month. I'd still go in with the mentality of winning it, but play the second string and if we lose just accept it and concentrate on the league and EL. However there's no reason our second string can't beat a team in the Championship. 2
surrifox Posted 3 January 2021 Posted 3 January 2021 Today’s bench + hamza + Ricardo ( Gray if he’s not fit )
