When you read the names in this Chelsea squad it’s just a football manager games wet dream. Turns out these lot are better suited to a more European style of play. Useless.

Fortunately, they're managed by somebody with about as much qualification as your average FM player.

Half time.

Great performance so far. Carrying on from the form against Southampton but even better.

A few observations:

- Great pressing, not just by Vardy but the whole team this time with particular improvement by Barnes and Maddison to coordinate up front.

- Maddison has been more disciplined last few games staying nearer to Vardy and not dropping deep clashing with Tielemans. It has worked wonders: Tielemans thriving and Maddison getting more goal scoring opportunities (as Vardy is still drawing two defenders to him).

- Albrighton has been excellent which I want to call out.

- Ndidi is really improving his positioning and passing adding to his tackling.

- So lucky we did not concede a penalty as things could turn out differently at half time.

- Justin is so much better than Chilwell - Chelsea on the left reminds me a bit of the old Leicester with Chilwell ... predictable.

Well done lads. Keep it up.

Jeez, Tyler. Compare the white noise, mic busting screams when one of the big clubs score compared to the obvious not-even-bothering-to-hide-it disappointment when we do.

I know I’m hugely biased but it’s so overt. Pisses me off.

That penalty decision is exactly why I hate Pawson.

I know ultimately it doesn't matter right now, but it still grinds my gears that he didn't award the penalty for us against spurs, and had to wait for VAR to tell him it was a pen, but he gives that one for Chelsea!!!

The guy is exactly what people mean when they're talking about refs giving the "big" teams the decisions, he's useless

Not in a million years for the reasons I've out above, unless VAR over ruled it

That's why most had high hopes for VAR to prevent this sort of unconscious bias.
