I'm not sure about subbing Amartey when we're behind already. We have to gamble now. We're woefully short of attackers on the bench, could even have had Gray rather than 2 defensive mids and 2 centre backs.  

Really need Madders to step-up and do something.

Yes he has been poor but my point is so have others. Armarty is an easy target though and some wouldn't want to be seen criticising a forum favourite. As for the goal though, much of the blame should go to our coaching staff and shit zonal marking type approach. It's so predictable.

Started well but finished poorly. One sloppy but if defending gave us more to do.

 

Maddison strolling around like he's too good for them. Barnes touch has been atrocious, he'd run in behind if he played up front but his touch is, crap with his back to goal and can't head for shit.

Not a chance would Rodgers use Gray. Think hed rather stick Jakupovic up front

Justin/Fofana/Ndidi for Thomas/Amartey/Mendy at half time, please. The forward players haven't been pulling up any trees, but give them a more solid base to build off of and they've got the ability to turn it around. The defence has been naff so far, though. Amartey absolutely woeful.

 

Get Barnes down the middle for at least some of the second half and using his pace to get past their high line - Perez isnt a bad player, but in this setup he's far too slow and Brentford have taken full advantage of that fact.

Considering under and ricardo have hardly played i thought they looked good. I know im beating a dead horse here but Perez doesnt seem capable of getting that extra yard on defenders like vardy does, we've played some decent passes into him but every time we do he's on the wrong side of the defender/needs an extra touch that ruins the chance.

This Just shows how much Ndidi does for the team, Mendy along with Armarty is having a poor game wayward passes putting pressure on others, need to get Maddison on the ball more, 7 forward passes from him is not good enough
