I’m surprised we’ve not seen it suggested but I actually would love to see under play there. He’s a menace and is quick and has a good finish.

would be one way of bringing him into the team.

As a striker?

Nacho is toilet paper.  You hold your nose, it’s nothing you’d want to watch on action, but it’s designed (if crudely) for the task.

Perez is more of a bidet.  A lot classier, but dainty, and less effective.

I’m a TP guy.

This time last year ihenacho got a run in the team and did brilliantly. Kept being the player hauled off after an hour when he was motm. Confidence is clearly shot l to bits, I'd love him to rediscover that form but for whatever reason Brendan clearly doesn't fancy him and never has, shown by the fact he was nearly always the first hauled off when he did start, regardless of how he played. If that's the case which imo it clearly is there's no point him being here at all. Sell him and get someone in the manager trusts. I'd give him a run myself but it won't happen.

Perez is the better footballer, Iheanacho the better finisher. So it’s a toss up.

Both players have had the odd good game in a Leicester shirt but not nearly enough to warrant regular selection, and the fact this thread even exists proves that neither player has justified the big money we paid for them.

Went for Perez. Not saying we are Man City but I think we could do what they do and play without a natural forward. Between Barnes, Under and Perez you could switch it around during matches. Also I still think Ricardo as an option wide could be considered when we play 3 forward players.

A bit off topic apologies, but if we sign a striker like Edouard in the summer, surely one of these will be leaving? Who would you prefer to leave, Perez or Iheanacho?

Who do you play on the left side of attack then?

Ricardo did well the single time he played left wing for us, coincidentally away at Everton where he assisted the only goal.

Can't see Under getting any minutes again otherwise, as Ricardo is going to be picked to play right wing after Albrighton from what Rodgers said last week.

It could be interesting, I didn’t think of Ricardo. I reckon we’ll see Ayoze or Iheanacho though.

Rather Iheanacho personally. Looked really sharp when he had a spell in the side last season and with a run of games he’d rediscover that hopefully.

Perez best role is coming on as a substitute for Maddison late on when we’re holding onto a lead. Hes proved a real asset in recent weeks with his close ball control winning us freekicks to take the pressure off. Him as a lone striker though.. meh. Far too lightweight and slow Imo.

Ricardo will likely be bang average as a right winger.  Ünder is really a wing forward, and frankly a much better option.

Perez has the pace and speed of thought but no finish. Ian has no pace, no speed of thought but relies on the right ball to him and then has the finish. He's no JV and neither Perez nor Ian gives me any confidence in scoring goals. For me, move Barnes more forward/central and have balls through or crosses in from Tielemans, Albrighton and Under.

Perez looked a little rusty today but still took up good positions. With a few training sessions and games He will come good.

Plus with him we have the added option of moving Barnes or Under into the center and Perez to the wing. Which in itself can confuse defenders.
