I have a terrible sense of foreboding before this game. I’m a glass half full kind of guy.

I’m just expecting the worst, anything other than that is a bonus!

Most important thing is that we put them under pressure right from the kick off. Lot of running and pressing needed today. Sitting back won't work unless we use it to draw them in, press, and counter.

It's - 3 degrees and the players will be cold, bless them. Don't hold your breath

What’s the dive count going to be then?

And who gonna win the match bet of most dives? Mane or Salah.

Mane has to be favourite surely?

Remember ..only look at the TV when the game starts unless you want to hear about ‘pool.

To be fair there's been a decent discussion about us

Decision I disagree with - he's bottled it/arrogant.

I don't think we'll get anything out of this, but hope to be proven wrong.

Don’t look into the darkness, come back into the light.

Only Leicester would see an injury crisis as an opportunity to play every defensive option we can get our hands on.

Why is it that this forum’s starting point is that 3/5 at the back is inherently bad?

Because we rarely play it well and generally either end up under relentless pressure and/or create little going forward. It's an especially bad idea against Liverpool because they'll have an extra man in midfield and overload us in wide areas.

I've just looked how we lined up against them last time:

Schmeichel

Fofana, Evans, Fuchs

Albrighton, Tielemans, Mendy, Justin

Maddison, Barnes

Vardy

If we go with exactly the same formation again and it works then something will have to have gone differently in terms of how we implement it.

Or, alternatively, was it Einstein who said that repeating the same thing and expecting a different result was the definition of madness?

Amartey, Ricardo and Ndidi in for this line up, it's a stronger team, we could argue between Fuchs/ Amartey, Justin and Ricardo on current form, but Ndidi for Mendy will make a massive difference.

Rio Ferdinand is a class above the rest of that punditry team. No airs and graces just calls it how it is.

Based on what Madders was saying about the sit down before the season and blowing away the cobwebs and bad energy that lost us top 4 last season, you really have to respect B.R's approach to management the guy has a knack for creating that unity. Kasper and Wes I'm sure help this too

Well the wife’s gone 2-1 Leicester. She doesn’t really care about Leicester or about football for that matter, but she does care about winning our pot and has made money out of backing City so far. (I went 3-1 Liverpool :surrender:)

We never win with 3/5 at the back (except all the times we did Man City, Leeds, Arsenal).

The problem is we lost a few games we think we shouldn't, (Villa, West Ham who have both shown to be no mugs this season) playing 3/5 at the back.

Just nonsense reactionary crap, pretty standard for match threads.
