Tielemans63 Posted 21 February 2021 Posted 21 February 2021 Cash is a big loss for them too, good player.

yorkie1999 Posted 21 February 2021 Posted 21 February 2021 At least the ref won’t be out of breath blowing for free kicks

The other half is of the opinion why put a square peg in a round hole. And he won’t be as effective. We will no by the end of today! If he can't do it against Villa he'll never do it. 1

Did quite a decent piece on Grealish v Maddison earlier. Now their whole angle on today is ruined with Grealish being out. Actually spent more time on our game so far than the others (other than the actual west hame v spurs game obviously )

Just a bit worried about Thomas, he will be good for us but I don't think he's fully ready yet to play regularly I Imagine that Ndidi will have a close eye on that left hand side. Scooting over and helping Thomas out when needed.
SkidsFox Posted 21 February 2021 Posted 21 February 2021 We can't blame a poor 11 if we mess this one up. 1
Ric Flair Posted 21 February 2021 Posted 21 February 2021 Ricardo's main asset has been attacking from deep but will be interesting to see them pair teaming up, likewise Thomas and Barnes who have had some great games together.
RumbleFox Posted 21 February 2021 Posted 21 February 2021 Ricardo right wing? It’s something probably most of us have at least wanted to see being tried. It may not work but credit to Brendan I’m glad he’s having a look at it at least. Villa having a great season but hopefully the loss of Grealish will slow them down a bit. Let’s do this. X
sdb Posted 21 February 2021 Posted 21 February 2021 No Grealish is a real bonus but only increases the fact that we should be winning this (tough) game. If Wilf and Youri can manage the middle, I think we can win it on the flanks.

oxtonfox Posted 21 February 2021 Posted 21 February 2021 Interesting that Sky Sports News have Gabby Agbonlahor on as their match summariser. No biased assessment then ?
jim5000 Posted 21 February 2021 Posted 21 February 2021 Villa fans seem really worried about this, they’re playing 4-4-2 with no Grealish and bar the odd one, they think we are going to win... https://www.villatalk.com/topic/21509-pre-match-thread/page/16/ Cue the famous LCFC give-away 1
Tielemans63 Posted 21 February 2021 Posted 21 February 2021 A Villa side without Grealish could be harder to break down. I expect them to try the rope-a-dope approach on us.
David Hankey Posted 21 February 2021 Posted 21 February 2021 City to win whether Grealish plays or not, 2-0!! You heard it here first.
dynamark Posted 21 February 2021 Posted 21 February 2021 Last game before first lock down when we were in the ground we did these 4 to 0 battered them so lets see the same again 1
Stadt Posted 21 February 2021 Posted 21 February 2021 What minute will Castagne’s shoulder fall off today?

Their own fans see themselves as a one-man team.
dynamark Posted 21 February 2021 Posted 21 February 2021 If it is shin splints its quite common in younger lads coming through where their height and bone development is in advance and the musuces are tying it back.My sons team 13/14 had a couple of lads good players but taller than the rest and both had bandages and pain in and around the shins really hard time for them Have you seen Jacks calf muscles?
