Really hope those lads do the business. Would be great to be able to rest Barnes, Castagne and Ricardo.

Massive, massive night for Under's LCFC future.

Not confident :(

Sadly I think the schedule is going to be too much for us to have a real go in this, some strong teams will be left.

Let's just get through tonight, though.

I mean this is the biggest game of our history behind - Man Utd (a) and Athletico (h).

Cases to be argued for cup finals and play offs but I think European football trumps them - it is the product of those competitions, the prize.

****ing hell Corky. Cheer up. We're in it and we're one of the strongest of the strong teams. Have some faith, man.

We play the year before to get into Europe and now this far into it, we field a weaker team than we possibly should. I doubt we're going after Man City for top spot so why not appear at least to want this cup.

We don't need to score early on, 0-0 is still a neutral score for us at half time.

Ideal situation is a two goal lead on the hour mark and sub Vardy and Tielemans for squad players or an U23.

Look at the squad not the team. These will go full pelt and are only likely to tire later, so save your game changes for later.

I have faith in Rodgers- I love the fact he wants to do well in everything. If we can get Fofana back soon, Maddison isn't too bad, Perez available and Praet back on time then the squad will look better but we may need a full strength team beyond this game.

As I said, I don't have issues with the team selected, the bench is decent enough if required. But we need players back to go really far, for me.

Are you mad? It’s really clever from Brendan. We’ve seen their level, that team is more than capable of hurting them. There may be no need to bring Timmy, Riccy or Barnes on... and if we need a leg up then we have them ready. Good team selection for me.

Dan armartey at RB was a major limiting factor for us creating chances in the away game imo, surely we couldve played ricardo/castagne and rotated them over the next few days.

I reckoned we wanted Barnes to start; try to get ahead and then is the time for Albrighton for his defensive qualities.

Let's see how it goes.

Hoping that Barnes (and if possible, Ricardo and Castagne) sit out the entire game and be rested for the weekend.

Quietly confident :)

Agreed solid at the back, strong in midfield and hopefully with Vardy there is a goal in there. Hoping that Cengiz finally makes his mark tonight.

Always thought it best to play Amartey (who rarely ventures forward) together with Under (who is supposedly weak defensively) - so this lineup works for me (until it doesn't lol).
