Must win (no joke).

After that horror show, its 100% a must win. If Rodgers is blatantly going to give up on the Europa league then he has to back it up with a positive result in the league.

Banker away. They will be on a high after a great win v Benfica, whereas we have barely had a shot in 180 minutes against the equivalant of Sheffield United.

Get prepared for a re run of last season

Kasper

Castagne - Evans - Soyuncu - Thomas

Ndidi - Tielemans

Ricardo - Iheanacho* - Barnes

Vardy

*obviously if Maddison is fit - I doubt he will be but really good if he is - then he plays instead of Iheanacho.

That's probably our strongest squad we can put out though. Unless you put Albrighton (off-form) where Ricardo is, put him right-back and Castagne left-back.

Won't happen but I'd be seriously tempted to drop Vardy for this

It feels odd to say it but he is adding nothing at the moment. He's actually disrupting good attacks with poor play. I think a rest would do him good. Absolutely no chance it happens and to be fair he loves a goal against arsenal.

He’s out for 3/4 weeks.

A very difficult game for Tavares to be introduced into tonight. I don't see Arsenal as any easier as an introduction and certainly not over a more experienced player like Iheanacho who appears to be scoring the goals Vardy isn't at the moment. He'll get his chance against more suitable opposition, possibly as a sub to start with.

After tonight this is the biggest game of the season to date. We simply must see a positive reaction or I will be concerned we are going to see a repeat of last season.
