Guest TaggertvsWise Posted 14 May 2021 Posted 14 May 2021 I am really, really, no... REALLY looking forward to Wilf vs Kanté. First up though is a trip back to Leicester for a game of golf with my older brother who started me supporting City whom I haven’t seen in over a year. Can’t wait!
Paninistickers Posted 14 May 2021 Posted 14 May 2021 Fckin Ada. It's the FA Cup Final. I don't quite believe it.

dynamark Posted 14 May 2021 Posted 14 May 2021 Cmon folks relax and enjoy another good day nothing to be nervous about we are only watching. Enjoy the occasion and wish for the result. 1
ian__marshall Posted 14 May 2021 Posted 14 May 2021 Been feeling a bit anxious most of the day but now nerves are really kicking in. As someone mentioned above, I think it's to do with the fact that we've not been able to go to any games for a while so it's a combination of excitement and trepidation mixed into one. With this being an evening kick off and such a long day I'm just concerned I'm going to feel a bit washed out by the time the game gets underway which will be a shame as I promised myself that I'd give it everything at the ground tomorrow to try and help the lads bring the cup home to Leicester.

Lambert09 Posted 14 May 2021 Posted 14 May 2021 I actually don’t feel nervous about this one. I very much see it as our bonus game. I’m going to try and just enjoy the occasion and I hope our boys enjoy themselves too

Most memorable ones: Chelsea vs Leeds (plus replay), Arsenal vs Liverpool (Charlie George), Sunderland vs Leeds ('73). Didn't like the Cardiff finals, don't think they should count. I was brought up on family stories about cup finals (especially involving City). Grandad left me ticket stubs from 1927 and 1929 finals. Brilliant! we'll need your support at that Spurs game. I only remember those FA Cup games from the the BBC / ITV montages back in the day. I've no recollection of Cardiff making the Finals at all, so they don't count with me either. I remember the 80's games well and some of the early 90's ones, just. Hope the stubs bring us some luck tomorrow!!

Guest Danny Clender Posted 14 May 2021 Posted 14 May 2021 Tonight does feel like 'Game of Thrones' Season 8 episode 2.

peach0000 Posted 14 May 2021 Posted 14 May 2021 If anyone wants a laugh I’ve just been sent this https://www.skybluestalk.co.uk/threads/its-come-around-again.132563/ Genuinely worried about losing their last midland club to win the fa cup title 😂

I'll probably well up because I'm soft and emotional like that when it comes to this club. I still can't believe it, that tomorrow I'll be waking up, on fa cup final day to make the trip to Wembley to see my team play. Unbelievable stuff. The young lings might not remember, but fa cup final day was always such a momentous day. Out of the 4 channels we had, it was on 2 of them, pretty much all day. You'd see the players having breakfast, interviews, the coach journey to the ground. Then you witness a sea of shirts of the 2 teams involved, the singing of Abide with me. It was so momentous that the entire household would sit and watch, even my nan who has literally no clue about football would enjoy the occasion. For the 1st time in my life, all be it slightly tainted by the pandemic with reduced crowds etc, I get to be part of that. It may not be the same as it was, but for those old enough to remember it was and always will be a special day. Edited 14 May 2021 by Jimbo 5
