Christoph Posted 6 February 2022 Posted 6 February 2022 Start the search for a new manager now and get rid as soon we've found one.
desertfox2 Posted 6 February 2022 Posted 6 February 2022 Isn't he on 10m a year until 2025? If so, I don't think we can even afford to sack him at the moment.
jv1 Posted 6 February 2022 Posted 6 February 2022 That just tipped me over the top - Iv tried to be rational all year - fa cup final 7 months ago - 2x top 5 finishes - I’m giving him the time and the respect he deserves but that is absolutely pathetic - Iv had enough - out for me - lost the plot - was that a back 3 of amartey, souncu and Thomas second half - wow - he keeps getting it so wrong it’s unbelievable- however the players have also killed him - tielemans playing like my mum - the rest don’t deserve a mention apart from Maddison - best player by a mile again - we are bang in all kinds of trouble - gonna be a horrible few days getting over that

Unabomber Posted 6 February 2022 Posted 6 February 2022 Look at their starting 11 absolute dross. We went as strong as we could. He’s got to go. 1

Felt the issue has been that we’re far too nice, get bullied and are always prone to a complete capitulation. However after today, I can’t see him surviving this. Rodgers has produced some of the best football we’ve played, but some of our weaknesses have gotten worse with little sign of those being rectified. Big job coming up for the summer, and for whomever replaces him. I can honestly imagine that being on one of BR's school report cards. I think we're an image of the manager.
Popular Post Lcfcbl Posted 6 February 2022 Popular Post Posted 6 February 2022 Let's take the emotion out of it. I feel vile now having watched that and we are gonna have to put up with crap for the next week or so from all sides. Its not been a great season but we have a manager that has been pursued by some of the biggest clubs in the world. It wasn't long in the past that we were in League 1. Its been a shit day but we are 10th in the top division and are still in Europe, albeit a minor competition. I've had many more miserable days as a Leicester fan, forest will enjoy their day and fair play to them. I remember 90s when I was a kid and they used to beat us regularly and were better than us. Let's remember where we were and where we are. 1 6

I think there's been too many failures and excuses made and we won't progress with him. The compensation £10/£15m isn't much more than an average Premier league signing - ie Vestergard, that is if it as much as we think it is. If we had to buy out his contract and its 10m a year, that's almost 35m compensation. I don't think he will be sacked either.
Tielemans63 Posted 6 February 2022 Posted 6 February 2022 You know the manager is done when the team perform like that. That was a 'we want him out' performance. A total surrender.
Tuna Posted 6 February 2022 Posted 6 February 2022 He simply has to go, enough is enough. Question is, can we afford to sack him and can we afford not to? Still need to get to 40 points.
LestaAl Posted 6 February 2022 Posted 6 February 2022 I am presuming he is hoping for his pay off already…. 1
Gubbins Posted 6 February 2022 Posted 6 February 2022 Yeah he can **** right off for that. We were bad at times under Ranieri, Shakespeare and Puel. Really bad. But nothing any of them produced was as bad as Rodgers gave us today in the circumstances. Sack ASAP. 1
filbertway Posted 6 February 2022 Posted 6 February 2022 Surely we will have the contract written so he only gets 12 months pay. Were not that naive surely?

Hollyfox Posted 6 February 2022 Posted 6 February 2022 I've always been in but after that, I'd be happy for him to go. Dreadful performance and all the coaching staff knew what this meant to the fans and had ample time to prepare for it. Really, really shit, and through gritted teeth, well done Forest
Hitesh Posted 6 February 2022 Posted 6 February 2022 His days are surely numbered but who could we actually get in that would be decent?

I dunno what's likely from the clubs point of view tbh. I thought he should have gone months ago and said so. Maybe Top was hoping to hold on until the summer, but this season has been an utter abomination. From a personal point of view, I just don't want him to spend another penny of the clubs transfer funds. That's it really. Apols for being a bit of a tit in my initial reply, I'm just fed up mate. No worries. I’m sure we all are! 1

StanSP Posted 6 February 2022 Posted 6 February 2022 Not heard from @Dan LCFC. Is he that fan that ran on to the pitch 1
