Is it possible that the reason we haven't signed anyone to play RW yet is this guy is our no. 1 target and PSV don't want to let him go before their qualifiers are over?

Clubs can reject player sales no matter what, look at Kane. Some players are tight with their agents and won't be happy with issues such as their signing on fee or contract length. Some players won't want to move countries. Some players won't like the clubs or the clubs aspirations. Some players will demand CL teams only. Some players will demand extensive bonus packages in contracts. Some players won't like the clubs style of play. Some players won't like the clubs infrastructure I.e. training ground or stadiums.

Take it the playoff between Benfica and PSV is just one game?  Definitely watching this in some capacity on Wednesday night.

 

Never had any affiliation for any Portuguese team but I am definitely Benfica for this one!!

Only difference is we've had no reported bids turned down nor has there been any real coverage of it. Not that it isn't happening but I think we may be leaving it as late as possible on purpose.

So basically to stand a chance of pulling off this transfer any sooner we need Benfica to be 6-0 after the 1st leg
