The Athletic reporting this morning that Leon Bailey and Samu Chukwueze are both on Everton's list of targets for their right wing (Townsend and Gray seen as cover for Richarlison and a new signing).

Is Chukwueze any good, we were linked a couple of seasons ago?

...what do you think!!!

I'm seeing figures of £25m for McNeil, know we've been linked in the past but at £40m.

McNeil plays on the left for Dyce, but he's left footed so could work as a good inside right winger.

I'd be really happy with McNeil for £25m. Looks technically sound enough to be a better right winger than he is on the left, suits Burnley that he's a little more direct on his stronger foot that side but would add really nice balance to us from the right. Good set piece taker too.

I'd be delighted with mcneil for 25m. Watch the goal he scored against Everton cutting on from the right. He'd be about 40m plus though sadly.

Wouldn’t be thrilled. I don’t think he has enough about him to make up for a chronic lack of pace. Suspect that’ll always mean he’s doomed to play for a mid-table/top tenside at best?

The same was said about Jarrod Bowen before he went to West Ham but he's turned out to be a decent player for them.

Fair comment. But I still don’t see a ‘top 6’ player in Bowen. Wherever they finished!

Criminal lack of pace though, that's why he'll never play for a top side.

Nanitamo Ikone is a target.

Read this morning that Lille are after another left footed RW, Dodi Lukebakio from Hertha Berlin, with the potential to sell Ikoné.

Two years left on his contract so if they want to avoid a repeat of the Soumaré situation they'll want to sell this summer.

Left footed, right winger, has played no.10, on the left and more recently down the middle too, which fits well for changing systems. A winner with Lille. Knows Fofana and Soumaré. Good injury record.

Can see it happening - whether he is good enough for us is another question - disappointing stats on the face of it.

.......he does struggle to get up to speed when running with the ball!!!

When he is in possession around the box pace does not come into it, his abilities come to the fore and he is very good. He is very much for me a left sided player and therefore not a realistic balance for the team.

Watched almost all of Lille’s home games the season before last, he flatters to deceive and more selfish than Demarai Gray. Maybe, he’s matured a bit with age, but I personally wouldn’t take that gamble.

He's a weird one, somehow has been selected and played in a fair few senior French games and yet his stats are abysmal in an inferior league to ours. I'd only be OK with this if its a loan with an option to buy, way better players out there that on the surface don't need to improve as much at our level.
