Facecloth Posted 4 May 2021 Share Posted 4 May 2021 If he wants to go to play more then fair enough, I don't think we can offer him that, as has been said he's down the pecking order in whatever position we might consider playing him. But if he's prepared to be a squad player then obviously keep, he's nothing special but he's he's decent player and we need a decent sized squad next season. Unfortunately I have to totally agree with this, it’s so difficult keeping a squad of good players happy. We need players of his quality in the squad and it’s surprised me how little we’ve used him. Been saying it for months. Rodgers doesn't rate him, never will (he doesn't change his mind about players), and it makes no sense for Praet to waste his prime as a cup player for a non-CL side. One of the main positives of the 3-4-2-1 we played at the start of the season was Praet and Castagne teaming up down that right flank. I suspect maybe he has said he wants out already and that's why Brendan has thrown his toys out of the pram and isn't playing him. Ridiculous! He works so well with Timmy down the right and his connection with Youri can't be ignored. Brendan give your head a wobble.
