Can't fault him this season, he has been much more reliable than recent years where I thought he was dining out on past success. If he wants to stay then keep him for another year on top of his current deal.

Good squad player and seems likeable. Seems good value to keep him on rather than try and replace him with someone who will join as a squad player.

Let's not go mad, 1 more year to make it 2 more seasons is fine. A deserved extension for his efforts this season.

If in 2 years time we're still requiring a 33/34 year old Albrighton, we have really messed up.

If I could script it, Kevin would score the winner in the cup final.

Yep...We could See city Legend's hattrick....Sympathy selection Albrighton, Morgan,Fuchs...All scoring...

Then for Chelsea...Chillie & Kante...Then to Round it off...Vardy makes sure, & Kasper saves a penalty...und

The Legends Fa.cup -final.....I should be an Hollywood Script writer...

if you really aspire to Hollywood script writer status the players should probably be losing their hearing/ living in a van/ in the grip of dementia/ wrongfully imprisoned or forming an emotional bond with an octopus

Great decision from the club, in terms of underrated players, he’d make an underrated XI in our history.

Many managers have tried to drop him, but he always bounces back and rarely lets the side down.

All good squads need Marc Albrightons.

He's a good player but how is he underrated? He's rated fairly. Everyone on here rates him. The local journos rate him. Rodgers rates him.

Also, we've been looking for a RW for nearly 3 years now. Because Gray, Ghezzal, Under, Perez, and yes Albrighton, aren't good enough to be start 30+ games in the PL if our aim is consistent top 4 finishes. I'm happy he's a getting a new contract because he's a valuable member of the squad.

Yep, he shouldn't be anywhere near our starting line up on a regular basis, but we keep messing up our signings so he keeps being relied on to do a job.

Great player. Massively underrated by some and most managers, but the guy patiently proves he cannot be ignored every single time. No dramas around him, model pro and absolute squad must. Go on ya big nosed fucher.

This coming from a fellow denizen of nose city.

Marc has been a stalwart of our squad since he first broke into the side. At the beginning, NP left him out, initially on the grounds that he was not fully fit/up to speed, but once he got into the side he showed us just how good his delivery and all round effort are.

Always think we look a better, more balanced side when he is on the field. He does the hard yards, always looking for the early ball into the strikers and, in my opinion has the best delivery since a certain mr Guppy. His contribution to our success is massive, not just on a matchday but in all the other ways that he shows his professionalism.

Well deserved, and nice to see that as a club, we still believe in rewarding loyalty from our players.

@fuchsntf i also had a dream where we won the cup 5-2, with a brace from Vardy, either side of one each from Nacho and Marc, finished off in the last minute by a Fuchs left foot worldie special minutes after being brought on for his big farewell.

I think that underrated is the wrong word.  Unsung perhaps?

Albrighton has often added much needed impetus and energy as a half time sub that has helped drive us on to victory.  He doesn't get the plaudits though.  The glory goes to the goal scorers.

I happen to have a bit of a soft spot for these type of players.  The water carriers.  The kind that will work their socks off on the periphery of the team in the hope of getting their chance and when it comes, give it everything.  The next week, they're back on the bench and they have to graft for that chance again.  I think that this is part of the appeal of a player like Big Dan too.

Chilwell 90 min OG in off his face

Whilst a minute earlier he misses an open goal with a diving header because his  head had too much bryl cream on it, the ball just slid off of his head..

At 31 and still a year left on his contract, Im not sure we need to offer him a new deal yet. As much as he has contributed this season, I think I would see how he is playing by December before making the call on a new deal.

Analyse this.
