I mean they probably haven’t got too many “glory hunter” types now !! I’ll keep posting until people finally wake up to it. its in the cups interest to have the bigger clubs in the latter stages. Just look at at the draws from the last 4 years. Yet again the 4 biggest clubs left in the contest all avoid playing each other. If you’re not suspicious you are an ostrich. If it can happen in Italy it can happen anywhere. The game is corrupt to the core For what its worth, the odds that 4 big sides all avoid each other in a quarter final draw is (4/7)*(3/5)*(2/3) = 22%. Unlikely, perhaps, but certainly not implausible. Given that there are only 3 big sides left then those odds are actually (5/7)*(4/5) = 57% So it'd be more likely to happen than not. I'm not saying the draws can't be rigged, but at least statistically-speaking it's not even close to the threshold to be concerned about. I did some more in-depth analysis a couple years back that I'm too lazy to search for - if i even ended up posting it - but it all checked out as being a reasonable if slightly unlikely outcome over several years of cup draws. 4 2
