No changes. Unbelievable. Our only hope now is that Bruce is worse at in game management than Brendan. I can see him parking the bus for the second half and giving us a glimmer of hope 🙏

What really ****s me off are the unforced, individual mistakes they are making. It led to the first goal, for one. 

There's a hell of a lot of talent in that line up, so it can't be that it's down to a lack of skill. For me it points to one of two things – either an attitude issue, or that the players are bottling it through nerves. 

I don't think it's the former, so I think Brendan needs to bring a bloody psychologist or something to sort them out. We need to be able to do the basics right when it matters the most – at the end of the season.

That may be part of it but I don’t see the fire, the drive or the leadership needed when the finely tuned LCFC machine isn’t quite working properly - from the manager or players.  A collapse has been on the cards for some time and bizarrely the only time I’ve seen BR criticise the team is when we were 3-0 up at half time. Sometimes you just need drive and aggression, it’s not all about tactics and control. I think we lack in these areas.

 

Hope I’m wrong!  Will happily eat humble pie if we get 3 points from this.

Not one to over react (i always over react) but if we fail to get top 4 (unless we win the fa cup) then something needs to change at the club. Is it Rodgers? Do we need to shift certain players ie Maddison and reinvest in other players? We all laugh at spurs and Arsenal but if we don't make top 4 again then we will be the laughing stock of English football. Imagine being in the top 4 more than near enough every other team in the league for 2 years but never actually finishing in the top 4. If it wasn't so disgusting and infuriating it would actually be funny. You couldn't make it up!

Posters calling out the players have to look at the formation, what the wings are being asked, the space behind them, the stress put on Wilf and Youri, then ask why the tactics are like this.  If I did this to my 16s, they would do me in at the half.
