I was just reflecting with my youngest son about the day at Southend when we secured promotion to the Championship.

My god, what an utterly fantastic club we have. I can’t believe it. I’ve never cried over football before, ever. Until today. The emotion this wonderful club provoke’s is unique. This day will live with me forever.

I’m not sure that’s fair.  They were double teamed against him from the first minute.
