@Gazi Giray I was in no way slandering Cengiz. Reading from recent articles, it seems he gets to fulfil a dream (potentially) and play for Mourinho, so good luck to him

Anyway, I cannot remove my Ghezzal poster just yet.

Hi Dahnsouff, . Ghezzal  is a wonderful player I watched him in Turkey this year .. He is so much talented and I think has got more technic than Cengo. Poster ? yes Under take his poster on his wall no problem.

It is difficult to play PM Ghezzal and Under needs to improve their fitness level . Talent is not enough for PM . Strong , durable at high tempo needed .. PM is like NBA. Not every good player could be succesfull there. may be it would be better to hire a special a professional trainer work on strenghts and endurance training on the summertime for them..

....Mahrez had a similar physique and played in the same position!!!

I am not trying to compare talent, just your evaluation of what is required to meet Premiership demands. Ghezzal was said to be phenomenal in training, skill wise, but seemed unable to transfer that quality to the pitch, not because of the pace or physicality but an inability to attempt to impose himself in any degree in games. He did score a goal very much in the Mahrez fashion where he shot across the keeper into the far corner of the goal having cut inside, from outside the box. That you would have thought would have bolstered his confidence.

He has the talent, as you have said, but unless you have the believe in yourself, that you can compete at the desired level, you will always be hesitant and be half a yard off the pace and being on the back foot and games passing you by.

Maybe the player's self-confidence is very difficult to re-gain once has lost. I think a good sport psychologist support would be very helpful.

It’s a shame, and watch him be a real star of the Euros, but we’ll always have that assist to help us finally win at Arsenal.

As he is still our player until the end of June (loan terms), can you imagine if he has a great first 4 opening games for Turkey. We'll all be going mad on here, asking the club to make the deal permanent lol

I just feel bad he wasn't at the Cup final to collect his winners medal. Not sure the reasoning behind it but was a part of the squad in any case

Yes I am absolutely gutted and truly devastated by this

@Gazi GirayGood luck tonight.

I was in Turkey during Euro 2012 and was in a huge bar watching England vs Sweden. Many locals were supporting England and when Welbeck scored the winner one of them let off a red flare and ran around the bar. I was in the wrong place and my shirt caught on fire (well it sort of melted). No harm done, I didn't suffer any damage. However, the lad with the flare was horrified and couldn't apologise enough. He eventually took off his own shirt and gave it to me. I insisted that it was fine and should keep it with my thanks for the offer. The local Turkish lads made me one of their own that night and for that I will follow them as my second team.

One other thing, after the flare incident I sat on a chair until one of them pointed out the smoke coming from the cushion I was sat on. Also had a burn hole in my shorts but no one offered me theirs!

Shame because that pace at least would have helped us in the last couple of games. Didn’t do anything with it mind but we were very slow going forward toward the end of the season

He's lost weight. Get them impression he never really gave his all at Leicester. Obviously worked his bollocks off to get in shape for Turkey.

It's not because he loves fish and chips too much :). Joking aside, it takes a time , he has worked very much to regain his form and he only has gotten in shape after his injury.  I think he was very cramming  during his injury .

Hi Spudulike,

I'm so glad you didn't get hurt thanks God. :thumbup:I think probaly he had a glass of alcohol in his hand and poured it on him and somehow the lighter touched him.

It should be  very exciting game , 3-2 , England won the game .

For supporting our National Team  I am sorry for you. We could be  the biggest nominee who can  get Oscar award from FIFA for the most unstable and uncertain national team in the world. We beat the world champion France, we lose to Latvia, then we beat Norway with  Halland, we beat the oranges, but we can't make 5 passes against Moldova. We are a strange team. When you are supporting us please bear in mind this factor . :)
