Agree with this, the recent games with 3 at the back we just didn't get going. Based on the performance in some of the qualifiers (Denmark for example) I had low expectations.

 

Played well so far and have a decent set up, hope it continues!

We’ve got some really talented young players - I love the play of Mount at the moment.

 

Incidentally I think it’s the older guard that have held us back - Walker and Sterling in particular.

 

And dare I say it… we’d look much better with Chilwell at left back.

Yeah, I’d probably have started Grealish and Chilwell for Walker and Sterling tbh.

Nice options from the bench later…

New Wembley atmosphere for England games is always terrible tbf.

Probably lost their voices after that pathetic booing. But yes you’re right seems uninspired at the moment.
