Popular Post Tuna Posted 15 June 2021 Popular Post Posted 15 June 2021 Arsenal apparently, link to the source is in the tweet but it's in Arabic. 1 14
LCFCABC Posted 15 June 2021 Posted 15 June 2021 Cue Arsenal fan boys going into overdrive Can't see it happening but wouldn't be a huge loss given his recent form If we could sell for a big fee and replace with better I'd consider it. 3
Lineker's Left Foot Posted 15 June 2021 Posted 15 June 2021 Interesting because on their Mania forum website in the transfer section they’ve split their sources into tiers from most reliable to cod’s wallop. Seen this source before on there and it falls under the latter I’m sure.
lgfualol Posted 15 June 2021 Posted 15 June 2021 No way this happens, we'll ask too much and it is a step backwards at this point in time. Nobody who has moved to Arsenal in the last few years has actually improved so he'd be mental to go there anyway. Their best players are from the academy. 1
leicesterisme Posted 15 June 2021 Posted 15 June 2021 If they came in and offered what we'd want for him then I'd have no issue in selling him. 3

Leicester_Loyal Posted 15 June 2021 Posted 15 June 2021 Would sell him for good money but I doubt we'll get that for him.

Wymsey Posted 15 June 2021 Posted 15 June 2021 They aren't a prosperous club like they used to be. This would be a step down for him, due to the club's restructing requirements internally.
Devonfox1884 Posted 15 June 2021 Posted 15 June 2021 £40m + Smith-Rowe? When he’s good, he’s very good… but that’s usually about 2 months a season and his hip issues are a worry. I’d sell if the right offer came in. Obviously happy for him to stay too, not rushing to push him out of the door.
moore_94 Posted 15 June 2021 Posted 15 June 2021 Can't see them paying up what we would want for Maddison, not that I would want him to go anyway I imagine we would probably want at least £60m, and Arsenal can't/wont do that it one go like we would want, as I doubt Top would take it spread over 5 years like they somehow managed with Pepe

This is where I am and have been saying so for a while. It goes without saying we have a price for all our players, we've seen that and it's 'our model'. Given his attitude i'd probably take just under his valuation (within reason), I keep hoping and waiting for him to grow up but I can't help but feel he's bad news around the squad. BlackFox Posted 15 June 2021 Posted 15 June 2021 (edited) It probably won't happen, but honestly wouldn't be a big loss, the opposite, lots of cash to spend elsewhere. Even at his best form he was disposable. He is very talented one of our best but it seems like he's never committed. Edited 15 June 2021 by BlackFox
Popular Post MPH Posted 15 June 2021 Popular Post Posted 15 June 2021 I can’t work out if people have really short memories with regards to Maddison. Also, people do know he was struggling to get match fit don’t they? It’s not like he was fully for the last 10 games he played. and with regards to him being a bit of a melt… he’s a young man with more cash than he knows what to do with… you don’t honestly expect him to join the local scrabble club do you? 7 1
Sharpe's Fox Posted 15 June 2021 Posted 15 June 2021 He's disposable. Just like Chilwell. Wouldn't be arsed one bit about this. 1
nettle Posted 15 June 2021 Posted 15 June 2021 Didn't someone mention a bit ago about him trying negotiate a move away or was that a load of rubbish?
