Potentially selling him all depends on the formation we want to play, if our idea is to go 4-3-3 or 3-4-3, then he simply doesn’t fit the system, also selling him could free up some funds to strengthen ourselves in other areas. Ever since Maddison joined he’s blown hot and cold, his hot spells seem to come over a prolonged period, then his cold spells seem to come over a prolonged period, on his day he is absolutely brilliant, but when he is bad, he is a very frustrating player to watch. Willock is also not like any of our other midfield players in that he runs beyond the striker. I think he’d be a very handy player for the squad, especially in a 4-3-3/3-4-3.
Haywood_6 Posted 3 August 2021 Posted 3 August 2021 £70 million and Joe Willock Then we go and buy Mattheus Pereria and Tarkowski. I'd be happy with that.
FoxyPalace.com Posted 3 August 2021 Posted 3 August 2021 £100million and one eyed Willy please Goonies 😅

don_danbury Posted 3 August 2021 Posted 3 August 2021 shouldnt they be looking for a proven striker, given that auba looks finished?

KFS Posted 3 August 2021 Posted 3 August 2021 He can go for free if they can invent something that puts a real life mute button on every Arsenal fan on Earth

cruzFOX Posted 3 August 2021 Posted 3 August 2021 2 more weeks before the transfer silly season is over! Can't wait to get back to business
dannythefox Posted 3 August 2021 Posted 3 August 2021 I like madders but we struggle to get 20 consecutive games out of him and he’s too bothered about being like Beckham ffs, even got Cruz in his kids name now the melt. Anything over 55m plus a player I’d be happy.
Lesta2014 Posted 3 August 2021 Posted 3 August 2021 All makes sense now, Simon Murphy has moved as senior physio to arsenal, they want Maddison to keep him company with his yearly hip issue 2
MGLCFC Posted 3 August 2021 Posted 3 August 2021 (edited) £70m gets you Berardi, Pereira and Tarkowski just about. (We may have to raise about £10m from other sales) The question is would we be a better team with these 3 acquisitions or to keep Maddison? Edited 3 August 2021 by MGLCFC

It only gets you Berardi if Sassuolo are willing to part with him, which is far from certain given Locatelli's likely departure.
