Here’s the problem we bring them in give 1/2 a chance , like Pratt , and under then sit them in the bench and never use them again

Under had 19 apps/10 game worth of minutes in those apps

Praet had 60 app/30 games worth of minutes in those apps

Somethimes players have to take their opportunity and take their chance to impress.

Or maybe just maybe Rodgers and our scouting team are better judges of talent and potential than you, me and others on foxes talk?

Let's not write off a player before he has even signed

Is it just us that gets on players backs before they’ve kicked a ball. We have some real entitled tw@ts in our fan base

Rodgers " look man we need a right winger"

Rudkin " your wish is my command"

This morning Rodgers " ffs is he for real"

I blame Vardy for this asking Rudders to get him some RedBulls in ffs.

I worry that Rogers said to Rudders, "Look man, there is only so much I can do with this squad," and a lightbulb went off in Rudders head

He had one of the best games I've seen from a player against us last season and in general he was a decent player last season but that was all from the left.

It's not out the realms of possibility he could kick on here and prosper if we use him on the right but it's just as likely if we do that he barely does anything and we're subjected to Perez once again and Lookman will head back to Leipzig.

The more I think about it, the more I'd rather we just fast track Maswanhise.

Exactly my thoughts, he has so much potential.

I thought this was just one of those rumours to be taken with a pinch of salt. So it concerned me not. Should I now be taking it seriously? Should I be worried even? Because, tbh,  I'd be underwhelmed.

We moved on Gray because no one seemed to know the magic ingredients. Are we about shell out on someone similarly perplexing?

I'm sorry fir being negative but this guy is as average as they come. **** me, I hope we are not paying 15m+. He will go the same route as Under, Gray, Ghezzal and others.

My problem and question is this. :

Are we A, signing him as a lw?

Or are we B signing him as someone to play all over lw cam and rw.?

If we're signing him as a lw this is a waste (i know his best position is there but we're screaming out for a rw.)

.. I  know exactly what you are saying and I  feel the same!!!

The rationale is Rodgers is perfectly happy with what he has on the right side, that is, Albrighton, Perez and Ricardo but is bringing Lookman in,  in this instance, he is a back up for Barnes.

Now obviously this still leaves the right side weak, we can see that but for now it is not an issue for Rodgers as we play a somewhat lopsided formation, in respect of when we are in possession.

I can see the trade off, and to a degree it does make sense, the bug bear is why are we so late in the day looking to fix a position (that was not an essential problem) when there is a greater need somewhere else. Once again we have to go through a season handicapped by the absence of a player to knit this team together.

Lookman is not the answer to our RW problems. Nothing I've seen of him suggests he is a top 6 level player.

Is this deal a permanent or loan?

I wonder if we'll still go for CHO if wages can be sorted?

Lookman gives us cover on the left win, CHO as a first option on the right?

It’s a weird one.

It was initially reported as a loan, and previous attempts to sign him this summer (for palace/wolves) were reported as £3.5m loan fee and £50k wages. What he is saying here makes it sound like permanent.

I suspect it will be a loan with a buy option, probably haggling over the loan fee.

Lookman must be capable of doing a more effective job than Perez.

And we needed back up on the left

There’s nothing in CHO at all. Sources closer to Leicester have said it’s crap.

I share the concern about him not being a RW but we aren't going to get a proven top 6 player at this stage. So many people are writing him off but as we've seen with Gray at Everton and Lingard at West Ham sometimes things can click, plus we are talking about a player who had a good season last season within a generally poor team.

Is he any better than Sowah?

Seem strange we have need a RW for 2+ seasons ans we end up with a LW?

I think he will be seen as back up for Barnes and its Perez and Albrighton on the RW.

Would still not be able to name them both in the EL squad. Would be OK in the PL squad as CHO is under 21.

Nope, he is a left winger and coming as backup to Barnes
