ALC Fox Posted 30 August 2021 Posted 30 August 2021 Lookman was a real plus for Fulham last season and showed real character after a difficult start to the season. He needs a home and deserves a shot. There's talent there and it's time he settled down and delivered on the promise he showed as a teenager. Perhaps Brendan can coax it out of him. It'll be a big ask to come into a side that's aiming towards the top of a league but if he comes here I guess we'll find out what he's made of. A loan with option to buy is the right deal for us, but he might be worth the risk on a permanent if the price is right. 3

UHDrive Posted 30 August 2021 Posted 30 August 2021 Confusing to say the least. On one hand it gives our entire left flank the skill and depth it needs. If we aren't careful the the right flank will drag our lop sided team into mediocrity. Here's to hoping we'll be getting 2no wingers and not one.

None of this nonsense about playing out from the back. People used to stand on the terraces. Now the lazy buggers sit down because they can't be bothered. They wouldn't let you in the ground unless you were so drunk you couldn't stand up. And the balls used to be proper ones- leather and laces. The players used to have sensible bags, none of this Lewis Vitong business. There is much nonsense on this forum. 1

We’ve clearly strengthened the squad which is great but we don’t appear to have improve the first XI. I was hoping for a left footed right winger and we’ve ended up with a right footed left winger who can play on the right, not very well from what we have seen aswell. If we have signed him as cover for Barnes and we get another winger in tomorrow then great. If we have to go another season watching Perez on the right, we’re gonna struggle. Ill be honest I really dislike Perez.

I think under the right guidance he can be good, we have taken on players that hadn’t reached their potential before and won the league. I trust our recruitment.

So Brendan, the manager of the team who has 2 consecutive 5th place finishes and an FA cup (don't know if I mentioned that) rates him, but many Leicester fans, who's only experience of managing a football team comes from playing a computer game, do not and it's the Leicester fans who are correct???
