Thiago Almada and Chris Richards

..we would have to lose one of our Centre Half if we were to bring in Richards!!!

I would love to see him hear but we cannot keep so many quality players and keep them all happy.

Vesty goes on loan, and Christmas is coming, course we can.  lol

Jan signings are probably dependent on if we’re able to shift any out.

Benkovic, Mendy, Hamza immediately spring to mind. I think decent bids for any other squad players would also likely see us tempted, wonder if one of the sides struggling (ahem Newcastle) may become more desperate and chuck a load of money at an Iheanacho or Perez for example.

A defender who can jump more than an inch off the ground and a creative right winger. It won't happen of course.

A cdm. Ndidi out for a month at afcon and he needs competition to get him back to his best. He knows no matter how crap he plays that Brendan won't play Hamza so he's guaranteed to start. Hamza to be loaned out and get a new cdm

I don't think we will move on as many as 5 players in January. I think there will be offers for Youri and he may well go before his value drops a lot in the summer.

We're not signing anyone. We pursued Vetergaard and Bertrand in the summer, which were probably only done due to long term injuries in those areas. That's a good £20-30m outlay that we'll need to commit to now, unfortunately.

There is always a good proportion of the LCFC fan base who assume we will spend big every transfer window.

I suspect it will be very similar to the last two seasons, a very quiet window for LCFC.

More likely to see outgoings then-incomings in my view.

In reality, it's about getting players fit and back on form instead of trying to fix it by splashing the cash.

Wish we were looking for Berardi again

He works hard, creates and scores goals in not very good side

....pretty much so, 13 games 7 goals and 5 assists so far this season!!!

It would be worth a try, I do suspect we would not be so off this season if we had bought him in this summer. We lost the upward movement and a refresh of our team. For the whole team to be so underwhelming at the same time only means they have been affected by the same thing (what ever that is) all at the same time

I have a feeling Iheancho will get moved on, hopefully for a good fee. Use that to bring in a top right Winger

Suspect you may be right, but many of us won't be happy. Really performed well at the end of last season, seems quite odd he's not been played much lately. Like Praet he's become one of Brendan's unfavourites.

Of course, whether that means we get in a rw is another matter.

Sassuolo seem like they are willing to sell Berardi in January (and Boga) to be able to start a squad overhaul

€25-30m, Fiorentina have supposedly offered €15m so far

Sassuolo, it can be revolution. Boga away in January, Berardi probable

Sassuolo could sell both Jeremie Boga and Domenico Berardi during the January transfer market. A difficult situation to think about until a few weeks ago, but the neroverde club would like to start a revolution already in the winter, to anticipate choices that would be inevitable during next June, given that the first would be expiring in the contract in 2023 - it was used a unilateral option to extend it last summer - while the blue has already asked for the sale after years.

Where is Berardi going?
If it is true that Fiorentina has submitted an offer, this is still low for Sassuolo. The valuation is around 25-30 million, the proposal is 15. If there are no other raises it will be very difficult to hope to unblock the situation. In January, however, there is still a month left and the question is far from closed.

Offer Perez to Newcastle, they can pay him more or match his wage here I'm sure.

The Newcastle fans will love to have him back and he is the type of player who might be able to keep them up.

Then go get Berardi .

Being linked with Hwang Hee Chan according to BBC. Haven't seen that much of him to be able to comment

Seems to be doing the business for Wolves when they play him, could be a future star with Liverpool also interested in him
