Weird because I thought Castagne was excellent apart from not dealing with the header leading to schlupps goal, and Soyuncu was a bit better than he has been yet as a unit we are terrible. 

 

Barnes was wank, really bad. He's lucky he has some credit in the bank because he has been awful this season. He got lucky with the assist as it was a crap pass. 

 

Tielemans not good today. We have no control in anything we do. 

 

Iheanacho did well, can't work out if it was an excellent finish or whether he scuffs a bit and gets lucky. 

 

Didn't deserve to win so hard to complain about the result.

I know we were hard done by against Brighton (after being outplayed for an hour) but I think that apart from Burnley every single positive result we’ve had this season we’ve been incredibly fortunate.

 

Could have lost today by 2 or 3 easily, we took our chances and (by and large) they didn’t.

 

On paper we’ve had one of the easiest starts imaginable - we’ve played the teams who finished 13th, 14th, 16th, 17th and a (terrible) newly promoted side in the first 7 games and have taken 8 points. We could easily be looking at 4 or 5 given how those games have gone. 
 

Really worrying signs, fortunately Iheanacho on hand to keep up his incredible goal return. And as another minor positive I thought Maddison looked sharp off the bench for the second time in a week.

 

But make no mistake we are in a serious rut.

Poor again. Lucky to get a draw. Long season ahead. 
Will feel more positive when JJ & Fofana are back……..just hope we aren’t in relegation dogfight. 
We looked like our old selves for 15 mins, then the panic sets in. Defensively we look petrified & lack the basics. Oh for a clean sheet !

And what was the point in signing Daka. We're not a club that can afford to sign blokes for a fortune just for them to sit on the bench. If he wasn't ready for the first team we shouldnt of signed him. We needed players to come in and improve the side.

The two biggest differences between this and last year are defensive injuries and Tieleman’s play.

Would have taken the draw before the game but it was absolutely gifted to us.

 

The boring sideways passing rightfully went in the game, at the expense of any control. Highlighted by our 40% possession.

 

I don't know how Vestergaard is still starting, Amartey is for less of a liability. Evans will be the difference between 8th and 15th for us this season, if he hits the ground running when he returns.

Only Castagne, Vardy and Kelly (even him 2nd half was bad) can take any credit. Pos Lookman in first half. 
 

The other set were so spineless and soft. Didn’t win a challenge or a second ball. Two CBs can’t even clear a ball. Bertrand looks past it. Barnes consistently diving. Youri giving it away. Hamza so inconsistent. 
 

This squad is so much better in quality than we’ve had in a long time but they are mentally the weakest we’ve probably had in this Premier League spell

Prior to our first goal we were abysmal, and apart from two quality goals really poor.

Really hope it is just underperforming  and we turn the corner soon because we are currently looking all over the place.

For once we got a good lead, albeit gifted to us, but then Rodgers fails to address the fact that we were being overrun in midfield until after they'd got a foothold back in the game. He will be given time to turn things around but I'm beginning to doubt that he can. Talks a good game but he's being found out.

We're showing our versatility. Be can come back from 2 down and we can equally lose it.

 

I saw a recognition that we're not playing well by trying to change things. That's something. 

 

We weren't worth a 2 goal lead (however one measures worth) and of IS disappointing to let is slip, but we did get a point. And Nacho showed again what he can do.

 

I can't be too pissed off. I think we're seeing a genuine attempt to address our problems.
