It is such a relief to come here and say that every player is doing a good job. Even Soumare, who I think has been our weakest player, showed signs of growing into the game. Truly pleased for Maddison too. When he's on form we look a different proposition.

We look so dangerous. The most pleasing thing is how easily we are playing through their midfield.

 

Evans being back is an absolute game changer. As important as Vardy. What a player.

Keep going lads!

This is clearly the football that Rodgers aims to play but the differance between today and the vast majority of this season is that the lads look sharp. 

Our press has been excellent too. Nacho' really improved in that department.

Best half of football we've played all season IMO. One of the first games in a long time I can remember us pressing so much as a team, and unsuprisngly we've looked great as a result. Can we keep that up for 90 minutes? I hope so! We really should be ahead IMO.

 

Tielemans is bossing it, Soumare and Maddison been quite good. Evans the rock that we need. I think Amartey deserves a lot of credit too, he's not put a foot wrong, and played us out of trouble a few times.

 

Would love to win the game, but the performance is what pleases me. Back to looking like a good team!

Man Utd definitely the weakest of the juggernaut teams. They have exceptionel talent, but some of their pressing and defending as a team are far from great; which gives us a chance.

 

We still look like lacking confidence and think we look weak in the duel game. Ihenacho is pure chaos though in the best way possible. Not great stuff, but we are not looking as naff as in other games.

Brilliant half of football from us there! We are bullying them.

Iheanacho is brilliant,

The midfield looks so much more relaxed with Evans behind them and Castagne and Ricardo at full back.

Much more balance. 
Both Fernandez and Matic could have had 2 bookings each so far, but not too much to complain about.

The only caveat for me is I'm still not seeing what Soumare brings to the side, really.  He's not especially astute with his passing and no Ndidi when it comes to breaking up attacks.  He's just kind of... there.

Whatever happens this second half at least we've shown promise and got the ball down. Tielemans and Soumare have been great on the ball, Maddison much better and Iheanacho has been great. Vardy quiet but if we play like this he will get a chance. 

 

Man Utd are pretty rubbish as a team but are capable of scoring from nowhere.

It's ironic because he's a real favourite of mine but we've looked a lot better without Harvey stinking it up on the left and Ayoze falling over on the right

Disagree with this. I’ve slagged him off this season but he’s been good this half. Passing has been solid and his positional play has been decent too. Can’t compare him to Ndidi who’s the best in that position
