Can't be giving teams like Arsenal a 2 goal head start, need to eliminate these slow starts and learn to defend ****ing corners - overall very disappointing.

Today we saw the negative side of key players missing. You can't start the way we did. They did show some fight and determination to get back in the game but too little, too late.

Still not a huge amount between the sides 4th- 11th really. Had we got one back before the break you never know.

Let's hope the big players are fit soon and, heaven forbid, we actually work on defending set-pieces.

Cut our own throats with as poor a “first quarter” as I’ve seen us play.

The only good news: Barnes ‘ return to form.

posted this in the match thread and I stand by it.

You're not wrong. They sat back, we attacked. Just didn't have that final finish.

Fact is you can't keep being shit defensively and keep winning games. Not just personnel, it's the effort, system and mindset. Going nowhere until we fix it.

Nothing worse in football then Arsenal fans and players thinking they are good. Such slappible faces. FFS.

Needed that one goal and it would have been interesting. Not our day, not clinical and a bad start to my weekend. Regroup lads and learn. The Caraboa Cup draw was not great either.

Unfortunately you were wrong then, and still wrong now!

Ramsdale would have saved an asteroid today.

That said, Arsenal gave us a lesson in pressing today. They were the away team but started on the front foot, pinned our wingbacks into our half and took advantage when they were on top. Second half the system change and more intense pressing finally pinned Tavares and Tomiyasu back, but their backline held firm.

Morale of the story, as it has been at the KP for what feels like the lat 5 years is that we start too slowly. We need to get into them and play further up the pitch from the get go.

Fair play to Arsenal, they more than earned their win. For us, after 10 games, it's a disappointing start to the season. Based on what we've seen so far, West Ham and Arsenal who we finished above last season are better teams than us this time round.

We deserved nothing.

If you keep making the same mistakes over and over again (slow starts, appalling set piece defending) you'll get punished in lots of games.

It matters not that we were ok for 50 minutes when you've given the opposition 2-0 lead. And it was "given", Arsenal did nothing special to be 2-0 up.

The set pieces, both attacking and defending needs sorting. It's beyond a joke now.

Mostly toothless, although Ramsdale had a stunner. Amartey shocking half.

But we need to keep Iheanacho on, not drop him due to the myth that we can't accomodate Vardy and Iheanacho in any other formation.

Definitely a game of two halves by all accounts caught the last 40 min had some great counter attacking football, was unlucky not to get a couple back !

Pick ourselves up get on with the next game in Europe then back to the Business of Premier League next weekend !

Awful first 20 minutes, then Ramsdale turned into Superman.

Certain cogs to this team really aren’t working, left side of defence still a problem, Ndidi needs to come in over Soumare ASAP.

People like to shit all over Arsenal but they are very much like ourselves, a young side with talent who still show occasional rawness.

We were the raw side today, Arsenal showed their talent and produced a perfect away performance.

Going to be a long and frustrating season. Mid table by the look of it. Must be the worst defensive side in the PL, certainly at set pieces.

Worse than Norwich Nahhhh !!
