We’ve had injuries but that’s not an excuse, all teams have injuries. The fact we bought Vestergaard and he’s so shit that he barely makes the bench, and we’ve still got the 3rd worst defence in the division is shocking.

Where to start analysing this first half. 

 

Awful formation with clueless players!

3CBs against NO CF

No tracking back

Inconsistent pressing

Unable to defend set pieces

Massive gaps in midfield 

No one in the team can find a pass

No creativity 

Only Vardy has played at a level higher than 1 out of 10.

Players don’t look interested

start every game slowly

Lookman is very narrow

No marking

Poor defensive shape


But BR will say we played well, deserved more and we’re unlucky.

2-0 down, but should be 4.

 

Am I being unfair?

I disagree its not as if we have an ageing squad, its quite young baring a few and We've got a few key players out, we just need all of our key players back and some sort of consistent lineup.

I’m a big Soumare fan but I’d give him a rollicking for giving up the chase against Kanté. The bigger issue for me though is the formation Rodgers has chosen. Too defensive. If Youri is out then KDH needs to play. He’ll offer us more in the final third.
