Next Game: Norwich (1st January 2022, at 15:00) - POSTPONED DUE TO A BUNCH OF SALADS

Makes you wonder if the Premier League might have to adopt the same approach as rugby union and award wins and losses depending on which team postpones. Season's never going to finish otherwise.

They had just 4 outfield players training today!..

What's their problem?...

That's more than enough to score 2 or 3 from set pieces against us.

Not with our new man to man system they`ve not  :-)

They should just abandon it. Hit the reset and go again next year.

Not sure the clubs can afford it, they had to pay back a rebate on the TV deal last time even with play the remaining games.

Should have done that from the start, precedent has been set now though sadly.

I think this is what should of happened from the start. Would stop clubs taking the piss with it

This season is complete carnage isn’t it. The Qatar World Cup in November was a bad idea at the time but since covid it looks worse.

No real opportunity to stretch the season longer than it needs and teams have extra games AOTS. What’s the answer?

Greco-Roman wrestling between the remaining fit players instead of rearranged fixtures? It'll diversify the fanbase and sell more calendars at the shop.

I don't see any positives to it, we will likely have one of the three postponed games shoehorned in to January now when we are without Iheanacho, Ndidi and Amartey. At least had Saturday gone ahead with Norwich's problems, we'd likely have got the job done and one less game and 3 more points on the board.

Depends if we’d last any more to injury during the game

(actually, a muscle strain to one of the Nigerian boys which fuelled them out for three weeks may have been a result for us!)

The worst part for me is I work away from Leicester on weekdays, which means I won't be able to make the rescheduled dates for this and Everton, which are most likely going to be mid week.

Should have a 2 week break, expose every squad player to an infectious team mate and then resume in a fortnight where teams will have nowhere left to hide.

Pathetic

This is the annoyance for me too. I buy tickets for me and my 6 year old. When these get rescheduled it’ll probably be 8pm kick offs on school nights so it’s money down the bloody drain for me no doubt - unless the club offers refunds for rescheduled dates? I’ll still want to go, but it’s such a faff messing around getting home when he has school the next day.

Was looking forward to this on NYD.

Good excuse for a catch up and a nice walk down. AND it's a 3pm on Saturday!!!

Can a mod add Postponed on the thread to help posters trawling through pages to see if its confirmed or not. X

Aren’t clubs just gaming this situation now?

Absolutely. Certain teams will try every trick in the book to cause a situation where there's a possibility of escaping or delaying nigh on certain failure.

FFS. I now have 5 useless tickets as my son's birthday present and won't be able to use them for a rearranged fixture on a school night. What a mess.

I don't understand how they can play on Tuesday and then today have just 4 players in training.

The premier League has made it easy for clubs to get games off now. Going to be ridiculous fitting games in.

I’m pretty annoyed by this. Every plan I’d made for NYE and NYD was scheduled with this as the main bloody event. Now I’ll have to spend more time with the family and be social with in laws. 🤬

Thanks Norwich! Glad you’ll be relegated.
