Is it just me who still doesn’t get the love-in? I know he finally got them promoted but what did he otherwise do for the city that they keep talking about?

It’s not just you…

We need more than Albrighton on the right

We've needed more than Albrighton on the right since 2018 tbh.

Youri is playing??

Yeah. He is the guy they keep nicking the ball from if they are not just running past him.

No idea what game some of you watch.

We've been the better side for the majority of the first half. They had a good spell in the last 5 mins or so.

Our back 4 have done quite well really. Going forward we look good, just need to click for that final pass.

Leeds are putting two or three on Tielemans when we have the ball while happy to let Dewsbury-Hall have it.  It’s working to be fair though there’s an opening down the left that’s not been exploited often enough in the last 20 mins of that half.

Again we’re just too sloppy when in possession of the ball. BR clearly wants the players to keep it better but too many of these guys haven’t got the close control and skill to play in tight areas. They’re catching us on the break every time.

We've been really poor. Crowd has been flat. Hardly had a chance. Leeds have had more attempts and spurred them over.

We need a second forward on..push them further back and press there passing around where we've nearly caught them

Decent enough half, fairly solid not a great deal in it.
We generally come on stronger in 2nd half which is why Lookman is on the bench he can now come on and push them from the right and will probably replace Marc not Hamza & why..because he has more stamina and pace than a tiring Marc and speed is required at the back.

It seems anything creatively will come from Barnes or KDH.

I have to give Leeds credit though, their tactic is pretty clear to me, they are swarming Tielemans at every opportunity and stopping him from dictating.

50/50 so far with Leeds having 3 times more attempts on goal than us. We are very much in the game though. Lookman needs to come on at some stage perhaps in place of Hamza or Albrighton.

It's this kind of acceptability why we're so poor.

We look terrible, and could comfortably be a couple down if Leeds didn't keep snatching at chances.

We're in for a relegation battle next season.

The shape in midfield is bizarre. Tielemans and KDH are vacating the centre of the pitch to pull out wider and it's achieving nothing. Leeds are just compressing those spaces, we end up turning it over and within 2 or 3 passes they are at our back 4.

This might be a game for 4-4-2 diamond, or at the very least get some of our more technically minded forwards on. We will break these open but first we have to be able to work the ball into our attack with more quality.

They are kicking Tielemans quite regularly,  you can tell he's flustered because his cheeks and neck go bright red, bless him.

While we're looking great through Barnes and KDH we're struggling for control and to create quality chances. Maddison could change the game for us but I feel its more likely Bamford comes on and they nick the win.

Good game so far though. Kasper doing well!
