if he’s injured for their cup final won’t he be injured for the games before it too? Which would include our game?

He's an outlet but it's not like he's their main player. Goetze, Van Ginkel and Zahavi all still there, add another interesting winger called Bruma ready to come in.

Not sure what you mean by "outlet" in the way that PSV plays, but Madueke is not some some of tactical after-thought. Rather, he's central to how they play and intrinsic to their 3-forward formation, and this season he's essentially been a first-choice starter when fit.

Just from what I saw when we played them -

 

Outlet as in under pressure they could reliably break through Madueke, utilising his pace and skill while still moving at speed. He carried the ball ahead of his team several times last Thursday, jinking past our players both centrally and out wide. But he didn't add much more to the game, he's a loss to PSV but their alternatives might still be just as effective against us.

No great loss, though he was bog average in the last last game , he has big rapts on him but I thought he was poor

Why do some on here get fixated on a player. They did with Daka ,page after page . Patson has shown that scoring 35 goals a season in Austria will not impress hard bitten PL defenders. He has got to reinvent himself and I wish him well. This young fellow would quickly learn a hard lesson in the PL and as sure as day follows night there would be those on here calling him a waste of money.

I didn’t realise PSV are in the Dutch cup final on Sunday - a few days after we play them. That could really work in our favour, as hopefully they’ll have one eye on that. A bit like how Palace weren’t at the races for 65 mins yesterday - due to their upcoming semi - until Youri gifted them a way back into the game

Yup, North and South Holland are regions. Eindhoven is in North Brabant. Saying it’s in Holland is like saying London is in Wales.
