But Eindhoven isn’t in Holland?

It's a Dutch side playing in the Dutch league commonly referred to as Holland ffs talk about being anal.

What’s Dutch got to do with it 😅 Holland isn’t the Netherlands. I’m sure people would say the same if someone said Liverpool played in Scotland.

Yup, North and South Holland are regions. Eindhoven is in North Brabant. Saying it’s in Holland is like saying London is in Wales.

Wales is in England though

I didn’t realise PSV are in the Dutch cup final on Sunday - a few days after we play them. That could really work in our favour, as hopefully they’ll have one eye on that. A bit like how Palace weren’t at the races for 65 mins yesterday - due to their upcoming semi - until Youri gifted them a way back into the game

...didn't the guest poster say that it wasn't that big a deal being in the final as they were nailed on for the Champions League!!!

if he’s injured for their cup final won’t he be injured for the games before it too? Which would include our game?

Unless I’m missing something…..:ermm:

Just not sure why anyone cares if he’s gonna miss the final when it’s after we’ve played them. Just didn’t make any sense

No it isn't. It's like saying Loughborough is in Kent.

Wales is a country (as is Scotland), Brabant is a historic Duchy and Holland a historic county with North Holland, South Holland and North Brabant being provinces of the modern Netherlands akin to England's modern local authorities.

I think it’s more relevant that one of their first choice center backs is potentially injured

Ah yes, we can relate to that much more :D

"All in all, the judge arrives at a community service of 120 hours for Madueke, but entirely on probation. Plus a fine of one thousand euros for the false paper, plus 370 fine for driving without a license".

Wonder if that makes it more likely for him to leave PSV this summer.

Just our luck, we'll be seeing him on Thursday. Because PSV have the technology...

Sounds like something Sean Dyche would say…

This serious stuff.   Is Rutland a part of Leicestershire?

For about a thousand odd years, no, but because it was for about twenty years in the late twentieth century apparently now yes it is forever.

This is good news for us, yes he didn't do much the other night but he was their one player I was concerned about when he had the ball, he pulled 3 or 4 of our lot out of position with ease and freed up room for others to exploit. They will be worse off without him.

He held the ball up well for them and progressed up the pitch so quickly his team mates could not get up to support him. He didn't really create anything because he had about 3 of our defenders on him.

Think he could do  a good job for us as we have the players to support him. eg Barnes, Vardy and Daka. All down to the price of course.
