Players look bored, little effort, no enthusiasm, no win at all costs attitude. I’m not shocked as I’m bored…. If the man in charge can’t change the basics to solve the odd problem, you’d just stop listening and switch off.

I’m torn, it’s not like Rodgers has done a bad job on the surface, we’ve done well since he was here. But it’s just so stale and boring. I never want to go to games and I rarely watch us on tv if we are on.

It the same stuff over and over again. Oh and his transfers have mostly been a huge waste of money, so why keep throwing money at them in the hope that changes and so the team.

How do you know all this then?

Could certainly afford to be 2-3 players lighter next season as no European football. I would look to move on for cash:

Tielemans

Soyuncu

Hamza

Mendy

Praet

Perez

Ward

Loan out:

Vesty

Bertrand

Jakopvic

And replace them with 4 players who are going to start in the first XI and not squad players plus Lookman.

It's clear we need a couple new centre halves, a more physical presence (Tarkowski?) and a younger player.

We'll need a new outlet with Youri off, so can see Madueke or CDK coming in.

Assume a few of the reserves will be off; Hamza, Vestergaard, Perez etc

More bigger lads, but seriously, I do wonder if Soumare was one of these more physical guys, or at least could have been but not sure if he was in his Lille days

We clearly need more physical presence, especially in the middle, just hope it does not mean lumbering donkeys

There's a growing list people want to be sold or loaned out but, it really isn't that easy.

Why would Perez for example volunteer to go with a year of a well paid contract left and the prospect of being a free agent? Who'd want him anyway?

Whilst we may all differ on who we want to go we have identified problems which Rodgers might add to. Pointless buying any more until some of these problems are solved as there's limited places in the squad. With no European football next season we can well afford to trim back harshly where it is possible. Another manager with another approach may do wonders, there's considerable talent in there that has been tainted.

That's the problem. Same could be said with hamza, ward, the lamp post and Bertrand. No one will pay them what we are paying them.

The volume of players being talked about being offloaded here would be more than anything since the days of Pearson arriving. I don’t see that happening.

We HAVE to sort out a Vardy replacement in the next 12 months, ideally this summer. We are not going to get good league finishes with Kel or Daka as the lead striker.

This is what most worries me about letting BR rebuild the squad. Our wage bill is already half full of overpaid players who aren't strong enough for the Premier League, most of which Brendan signed or promoted through the academy. We'll just end up with a load more of them. Our wage bill is already higher than Roma's but we couldn't lay a glove on them physically.

The only player i would be gutted about leaving is Fofana, sadly I think Vardy just will not cut it now for a whole season with us relying on his goals. Kasper and Albrighton could leave with the dignity and respect they deserve and Maddison will probably want European football. The rest, meh. As for the manager, if he is willing to be more direct and stop his possesion obsession then fine but I will not hold my breath.

I hope we don't sell Kelechi. In a front two he can be prolific.

We play Nacho and Vardy from the start we at least take the game to extra time. But Rodgers seems very reluctant to change his philosophy for the greater good of the team.

All this talk of a rebuild (which I think is desperately required) and I can’t help but think to myself it’ll never happen.

We’ll get in 2-3 guys who hardly play throughout the season!

The obsession with Nacho, people need to look at Tammy Abraham and how he led the line for Roma.

Bored of hearing he need to be in a two, so basically he need someone do his running and hardwork.

We have to be prepared to pay £70 million or so to get anybody of Vardy's class and anybody that good wouldn't come anyway.

Pure football manager this but what the hell !

Out:

Ward, Jakupovic, Castagne, Bertrand, Soyuncu, Amartey, Mendy, Choudhury, Praet, Tielemans, Perez, Iheanacho…..we can get £80-£90 mill for that rabble !

In: Colwill, Tarkowski, Maehle, Sangare, Madueke, De Ketelaere, Lookman

starting 11 for our inevitable first game of the season, home vs Wolves:

                          Schmeichel

              Fofana      Evans    Colwill

Justin          Ndidi       Sangare        Maehle

       Madueke   De Ketelaere  Maddison

Not sold on us getting Lookman in permenanrlty. £15mil is still going to be a decent chunk of our budget that could go towards half a transfer fee foe someone better, ,even if it's not crazy amounts, for what is a very erratic player.

Iheanacho is a mirror image of Abraham at chelsea, shows quality despite not being regularly picked in the starting line-up and is prolific at scoring goals and winning games for us when given the chance. We would do well to learn from Chelsea's mistake and instead of chasing the new shiny toy (Lukaku), look towards utilising what we currently have better. As the saying goes the grass is always greener and our fans love to look at other team's players and think theyre better than what we've got (people scoffed at me last season for saying iheanacho was at least as good as DCL and the season before that selling iheanacho to buy edouard would be a poor choice)

Theoretically you can always get better but what you can't get is quality Cheap.

In 5 season he's had one purple patch of 6 months.

He's all round game is no were near the levels of DCL or TA.

Good finisher, who lacks mobility, and tactical awareness, which is why he can't play as a lone front man.
