I've got tickets to Paul Merton at the Curve at 7.30. I've got to fight the crowd, hand off the kids to my mother-in-law (who won't leave the stadium until the last steward has taken a bow), grab a bite, and get to the venue. I am thinking of spiking the players' water bottles with laxatives to get them running at the end.

Skip the "lap of appreciation" and get to Merton. I know I would.

I’ll see, 8 year olds struggle with the 90 minutes as it is sometimes without having to wait longer.

This season I think most grown adults have struggled to stay awake for 90 minutes lol

The manner of the display will decide if I stay for the appreciation lap. I suspect a 2-0 defeat will see the stands looking like a lockdown match again by about the 85th minute

"Ey Senõr Pearson, the crowd are getting restless with this side to side fùtbol. ¿Comprehende?"

"Don't fret, Ayoze," *cocks t-shirt cannons* "I'll give them something to get excited about."

I second that, I'll be leaving early as usual to have a nice comfortable shit on my own personal throne.

If they tarred and feathered Jon Moss in the center circle after the game  it would guarantee every one would stay behind.

Don't do it before the match - they may well shit themselves during a set piece.

Oh, hang on.

No matter how the season has fizzled out I will definitely  stay behind and applaud the lads.

Unlike those leaving at 85 mins for no appare6 reason on a Sunday early evening!

At the end of the day, looking back we've  had a great European run with some good memories, and a satisfactory finish in the Premier league.

(Wont talk about the FA Cup!!!)

Might be the last we see of History maker Youri  as we can all agree he will always be remembered  for THAT goal but he needs his transfer for all parties.

The likes of Thomas Barnes and especially  KDH getting more games and flourishing is promising and hopefully Madders forms continues next season.

Enjoy the summer and come back again!

Who’s Thomas Barnes? 😂

You’re incredibly eloquent for an 8 year old
