Never had it, family have had it.

They've been jabbed. I've not had a single jab.

Lets just leave it at that

I hope that you continue to be that fortunate.

Think I might have had it right at the start, pre testing. Not had it or tested positive since.

Tested positive 3 times

Nov 2020 - lost taste and smell, nothing else - got it straight after being in hospital to have my appendix out

Nov 2021 - a bit like a bad cold - guy at work came in with it and took out about 10 of us

Feb 2022 - knocked me off my feet, spent a few days in bed - from my little sister who got it at school

Never tested positive but fairly sure I had it back in March 2020 when you couldn’t get tests. Also had a bad cold and had zero energy in around November 2020 which I never tested for as you were only advised to get tested if you had a cough or bad fever back then, but since then many seem to have tested positive after similar cold and lack of energy symptoms I’m not sure.

I voted the last option. Never tested positive but think there’s probably a good chance I had it during at least one of those 2 times.

Got it beginning of April 2022 for the first time, caught it off my landlord.

All 3 of us in the house had a really rough first few days - general fever/flu symptoms - then it calmed down pretty quickly. The brain fog was the most frustrating - I'd just started at a new job a week prior and was struggling to focus or form proper sentences for a while, which certainly didn't help. Took me 12 days to get a negative test though; one landlord was fine after a week and the other was negative but still rough (t1 diabetic, so vulnerable) for quite a while after.

Never had it. Literally every single person that I am close to personally has had it and every single person in my team at work has had it.

I had the exact symptoms that would constitute Covid in August 2019.

I spent 5 days in bed and felt like I had been beaten up.  I also lost my sense of taste and smell for over 2 weeks and it took around 3 weeks before I started to feel normal again.  Of course if we believe what we read, Covid was not around then...

I know a number of people who had the same symptoms too in autumn/winter 2019.

Once...unlucky

Twice...very unlucky

Three times...Are you licking doorhandles?

I'm not but not sure I can say the same about my kids.

The jab doesn't stop you getting the virus. It helps prevent serious illness when contracting the virus.

Let's just leave it at that.

I'm still not convinced that having had the virus and the jab (×3) myself that this compared to not having the jab at all has made a huge amount of difference.  Felt exactly the same post jab and post virus with only a lack of smell the difference.

As was said back in 2020, jab or no jab, for most this will be a mild illness.  I've had worse colds since 2020.

Let's just leave it at that.

Finally caught it in the new year. Fortunately I was fine. Spent an extra 10 days on my Christmas break ploughing through what was left of the Christmas booze and chocolates and binging on Netflix. I loved it.

Tested positive on Christmas Eve. Was a lositical nightmare, plus I missed us beating Liverpool. At least I saw them beat us on penalties at Anfield a couple of days before lol

Pot Noodle for Christmas Dinner is bleak.

Never tested positive for it, but I'd be surprised if I or anyone in the country hasn't had it tbh. Seems incredibly unlikely unless you've lived in a cellar for 3 years.

Never tested positive and pretty sure I've not had it yet. I'm almost 60 and have a heart issue so reckon I'd have noticed.

Daughter tested positive the day for Delta (?) after she'd been round at mine (caught off friends) and I'd given her a hug on leaving but I didn't catch it.

A medical type might be able to confirm/deny but I wonder if different people are more or less vulnerable to infections of different kinds?

I say that as I've never had flu either, yet I get a filthy chest infection most winters that sometimes takes a couple of months to fully clear.

I'll catch Covid tomorrow now, won't I? :D
