Nobody will pay the same wages he is on at Leicester. I think he will go out on loan and Leicester pay half his wages and the loan club pay the other half.

controversially, of all the fringe players… i’m not 100% done with vesty yet. I still don’t think we got to see him when he’s fit, I think he could be useful in certain scenarios and if we don’t get a suitable deal in place, he’d be the one i’d like to see given another try. 

 

We know there’s a player in there if we use him correctly. Backs to the wall against a big 6 club… he could be an asset. Obviously he has a lot to prove yet  but i just don’t think he is as bad as he’s shown us so far.

It was Amarteys awful play initially, but his effort (or lack thereof) to get back and put a challenge in was laughable for the 3rd lol

 

He'll be fine in a team that mainly sits deep and counter attacks or has a league made up of attackers in their late 30s.

He was very good v man City early season. Low block, ball in front of him etc. He was also colossal for those last 10 mins v rennes, again, defending the box...all in front of him

True, but today was the first time i saw him utilize that "amazing" passing ability that was being touted when we signed him. Sadly, this was probably his second best outing in a Leicester shirt (we will hold his 18 minutes in Rennes forever in our hearts.)

Vestergaard is not capable of playing the high press system Brendan favours where we try and pin the opposition in their  half and centre backs sit on the half way line. He doesn’t have the pace to recover.

 

He is better in a low block, counter attacking system which goes to prove how desperate we were to sign him.

Do we? What's given you that impression? When we banged 9 past him when he was at Southampton? When he got sent off at St Mary's the following season? The fact that bar about 10 mins versus Rennes he's been ****ing garbage for us?

 

He's shite and nowhere near the standard we are aiming for. Why we didn't go for a loan last season to cover for injuries instead of signing this jabroni to a big deal will forever baffle me. Crap.

It's baffling what happened internal at the club for him to be signed. Scouts will know his strengths, did they not ask BR what he wanted?

The JV that performed excellently for Denmark. The one that can pass a ball and was a key player for them. 

 

He has some good strengths but also some glaring weaknesses, it’s up to our management to know his limitations and how to use him. But if we need to adjust to get a result why wouldn’t we?

 

There will always be games where we have our backs to the wall, with 5 subs we could use a player to come on for the low block and give us a little more fight. I’m not saying he’s going to be pushing for starts… but we are stuck with him so we might as well try to get some usage.

When he said use him correctly I assumed he meant for climbing over the Training Ground gates when balls have been booted out
