When he eventually goes it will be to Liverpool or Man City. Klopp is a huge fan apparently. He won’t be going to the spice boys of Newcastle.

Yeah but what does Klopp know when Barry from Anstey says he's crap and we should get rid?

50M + 30M (Perez tax) =80M

Yeah I was dissapointed seeing the supposed £50m valuation tbh, £60m  would be a minimum for me, for Newcastle it would deffo add another £20m on top of that.

We’d sign a worse replacement for about £35m, this would be a terrible deal almost no matter the price.

He’s got the potential to get 15 league goals if he keeps improving. His ability to get in the box is fantastic and that Preston goal yesterday was a really smart finish.

He’s two footed, strong, quick, good movement, still only 24, and has a knack of setting up goals - oh and he’s a proper Leicester fan.

He needs to play with a full back that advances more than Thomas does, he was excellent with Justin before he got injured

He won't go to Liverpool. They've got Diaz on the left and they aren't paying what we'd want for cover. KIopp is a fan. But then he was apparently a fan of Traore.

Harvey Barnes is on his way to being world class. What a story it would be. Leicester would be mad to get rid of someone who winning teams can be built around. And his wages aren't the reason the wage bill is inflated. It's the hanger ons that need to go. Terrible if this happens. And can't imagine Harvey himself thinking this is a good idea too.

Joking aside, if all the clubs you look at, Tottenham is surely the one?

This is why we will never be a consistent top four team , not enough funds to be able to keep our stars and add to them . That’s why we missed the top 4 spot two years in a row because we couldn’t buy one midfielder to help YOURI out , maybe that’s the reason he’s leaving , can’t see us been any better than what we are . The playing field is not even and we can’t never complete with the big boys .

Harvey Barnes in 2022 has been largely excellent. He'll always frustrate but his goals and assists this calendar year are back to his pre injury form there or thereabouts.

Be careful what you wish for.

.. could not belive you went there!!!

  Not worthy of you Ric.

Unsettled their nearest rival when battling relegation by taking wood off them. But without a release clause our board will make it extremely expensive for a club like Newcastle to seemingly scupper Top’s goal of challenging at the top end by letting our best players to be sold to a direct rival.

Would be terrible if he left.

They're taking the piss now.  They won't stump up the money that it will  take for us to sell them either Maddison or Barnes.  Something I have discovered today though, is that all of a sudden, there are alot of Newcastle fans that have gone all Billy Big Bollocks. Not a pretty sight!

newcastle basically just what to evolve into what we’ve been over the last few years… what better way to do that then sign our best players :dunno:

I get the logic, but i hope we just don’t deal with them at all.
