Three, you’ve probably forgotten Vardy as well as Albrighton and Amartey.

Who could forget those crucial 104 minutes of football Amartey played in 15-16 l :P

I will be gutted when Kasper leaves. I don’t think he’ll go this summer personally. I think he’ll move on next year unless the club have decided that they want him off the wage bill and aren’t going to replace him - that idea would worry me personally. Having said that, if he stays I think we should start to introduce Ward/Ivesen in the team more regularly whilst we have the luxury of Kasper. I will be gutted to see Kasper go more because of sentimental reasons than footballing ones. I don’t think he’s necessarily declined. I just think his inability to command his box has become more evident in recent years. I also find his incredible inconsistency with his feet infuriating to. He can pick a wonderful pass out of nothing at times but a minute later he boots it in to row Z when a simple pass was on.

Whenever it happens, he will go as a true legend and one of the top 3 goalkeepers in our history. Possibly the greatest of all time but I’m not opening that debate, Gordon. Or you, Peter.

I hope you'll forgive my ignorance, but what is the deal with Schmeichel leaving for Nice? It's a nice city, but it seems a massive downgrade from Leicester. Not sure what replacements you'd be looking for, but I think Leno is set on staying in London. £8m is a joke for a goalkeeper of his caliber...

You're not wrong there. Wouldn't pay more than £8k for Leno. Assume you're on the wind up here?

He's an excellent shotstopper. I guess we just have to agree to disagree there. The main reason why Arteta is prefering Ramsdale is mostly his distribution.

being an excellent shotstopper should be the baseline or a prerequisite. i was an excellent shotstopper when i got put in goal and i was a striker. could i command and area and do everything else, could i bollocks.

They have Europa conference league don’t they?  OK it’s better than nothing, but it’s not exactly champions league is it.  And they won’t get Europa because there’s no way Nice will win Europa conference.  I always thought he’d go somewhere like Copenhagen so he got CL every year.

Nice are a decent team, in a good city, that finish near the top of a decent league. They’ll play him and he’ll have at least some European football, albeit not Champions League. It’s not a massive step up but I’d say it’s a step up, and maybe he just wants to play for another club before he retires.

Apparently a bit like his time at Leeds. He's not to popular in Copenhagen due to his dad's time at Brondby.

Kasper is just taking back control. He will get free wheels off of Brexit nutter Jim Ratcliffe, Mr Ineos. Apparently the Ineos Grenadier is a brilliant British car, which the billionaire hypocrite is building in France.

This must only have happened because he's felt like the club didn't do enough to show they want to keep him or he was told he won't be playing as much next season.

I'd completely get a new challenge after this season for a team in champions league or even just end in USA but ligue 1 and europa conference? And so abruptly too.

The source also says a free transfer. With a year left on his deal would we really accept nothing just to clear his wages? Keeping him for a year or now rushing to find a replacement just to clear 1 wage off the bill? Surely you'd rather the stability.

None of this adds up.

I wouldn't be surprised if he's waited until close to season start with Ward out injured, to reveal this "interest" and try to get a new deal with us on more money :dunno: and it just happens to be on Top's birthday, as well..?

He's more than welcome to do a Youri and run down the last year of his contract if he likes.

Get a grip.

Not everyone in football is a black hearted money grabber.

Exactly. How is that appeal so difficult to understand?
