The gulf in class between the two Absolute donkey
Claudio Fannieri Posted 15 August 2022 Posted 15 August 2022 If there is any truth in this then I genuinely fear for us. His career maybe coming to an end but to lose him at this stage would further reduce the experience and know how of our squad, we would become even softer and dare I say on top of losing Kasper, would mean the loss of some key senior players. This would be on a par with losing Walsh et al when Taylor ripped the heart out of the then hugely successful O’Neill team, the damage to the club was massive and took years and years to repair and I fear if this was to happen this could have similar repercussions. 2

Md9 Posted 15 August 2022 Posted 15 August 2022 Utd are more of a shit show then us at the minute so I don’t think he would even consider it. Get his new contract signed so he can concentrate on his football for us
Long Eaton Fox Posted 15 August 2022 Posted 15 August 2022 I really think we should look at a contract extension at the end of the season. Will his legs have gone? Sorry but in these times we can't waste £5m on sentimentality. 2

He’s worth the money just to have about the place when you listen to all the other lads speak about him. Plus, I don’t want him gone, ever… Edited 15 August 2022 by Babylon 17
dorsetboy Posted 15 August 2022 Posted 15 August 2022 thought we looked much better in later part of arsenal game going forward when nacho and daka were up top . really think daka and vardy as a front 2 would be lethal with madders just behind scrapping the rw and lw and the need to buy one praet had a decent game also and i think a 3-4-1-2 is the way to go --------------------------------------ward --------------------------------------- --------------foffana----------------evans-------------------new cb castangne----------------------------------------------------------------justin ------------------------ndidi----------------------kdh------------------------------ ----------------------------------madders----------------------------------------- ------------------------daka--------------------vardy----------------------------

It always turns into a back 5 and we just sit far to deep. 3

Tielemans63 Posted 15 August 2022 Posted 15 August 2022 To be fair, I can see why United are looking at him. He's the type of character you need for a relegation battle. 1
Domsdad Posted 15 August 2022 Posted 15 August 2022 They do have form for this type of signing, I’m thinking Henryk Larson, Michael Owen..

fox_up_north Posted 15 August 2022 Posted 15 August 2022 I know United fans who genuinely think he'd go. We are perceived as being massively in debt and needing to shift players cause we've got no money. The club really have let the narrative get out of hand, here. 1
TeaMen Tom Posted 15 August 2022 Posted 15 August 2022 If there was ever proof of how f--d up ManU's management is, this is it. That club needs a culture change meaning they need to get rid of all the lazy, overpaid deadwood and bring in some guys capable of creating a sustainable culture. A bandaid move for a long in tooth striker to add depth is the last thing they need. This is one of the most poorly run sports franchises in the world right now and congrats to the Glazers for doing their best to run a multi-billion dollar asset into the ground. Vardy's only motivation for going there would be the paycheck but I would be shocked if he did that given his loyalty to the shirt. 1
