It might just work.

Personally I only eat foods that have roundabouts named after them.

Do you extend this to include Spaghetti Junction?

I wonder if Vegans share their concerns towards animals, with plants?

All those tomatoes baking in greenhouses all day.

Mushrooms kept in the dark.

Millions of plants in ordered, packed rows in fields.

Cauliflowers brutally severed from their leaves.

Lots of veg boiled alive.

The list goes on........

After all... https://www.bbcearth.com/news/plants-have-feelings-too

The likes of cucumbers get an easier ride though.

They missed out Shoulder of Mutton Hill (Hinckley Rd as I runs alongside Western Park).

Also, to be really pedantic... the roundabout isn't named after pork pies, it's named after the nearby Pork Pie Library, which is the shape of a pork pie.

I suggest we change Walnut St to Fillet Mignon Boulevard.

I can’t believe this story has actually made sky news.

That's the thing about news. If you can't turn on a TV news channel, and within 30 seconds figure out that a major breaking story is taking place and what it is, then there probably isn't any news and it's just fluff to fill their half hour.

Absolutely, but there are rules for how it should take place.

Same as animal breeding places (not dogs).  They now have strict guidelines they have to follow.

Much better that essential testing is done in a controller environment than outsourced to countries without those controls.  Likewise production being outsourced to countries with higher emissions.

It was never a serious request

PETA do some good work…. There are the barmy bits of course

And guess what, they got a 5 minute slot in East Midlands today and spoke about the importance of reducing our meat intake….

Meat reduction is good your health and good for the environment…. So, hardly a contentious message

A bit of a free PR master stroke really…

I do eat meat but do like to reduce the amount…
