I'm too lazy to check the stats but I feel like we've done ok at Chelsea under Rodgers, certainly always in the games. If we had any sort of defensive stability we could make it hard for them.

I would play Iversen, but he isn't going to drop Ward yet. Soyuncu alongside Evans is the best we have currently, if Fofana isn't playing. Tielemans has to play because even at his worst he still someone who can create something. Albrighton will be on the right.

Need to frustrate them but can't see us doing it. We can't even say get the first goal and we will do well anymore.

We’ve been in every game at Stamford Bridge but more by luck than judgement.

In 19/20 we should have been 2 or 3-0 down after about 25 minutes. Played much better in the second half but on balance still quite lucky to get a point.

In 20/21 we were totally outclassed by a Chelsea side we’d beaten 4 days earlier in the Cup Final. Barely had an attack before Iheanacho scored.

In 21/22 we got completely battered and scored from just about the only time we got into their half. We had an xG of 0.04.

Somehow we’ve taken 2 points from those 3 games. Maybe Brendan will dig out another rabbit’s paw for Saturday.

I know it is never going to happen but please, for God's sake, try something different. All out attack, counter attack, kick them off the park, whatever. Just don't turn up, offer nothing and drift away with another listless defeat.

2-0 with one soft shot on target it is, then.

If I remember correctly this was the Ndidi equalising header and Maddison had a golden one on one chance. And we actually battered them 2nd half.

I actually think on balance we were unlucky to only come away with a point.

Draw was fair in 2019/20. Was a weird game where I think both teams could kick themselves to have not won it which in itself you think draw fair. That game back in May was hilarious though. We were absolutely awful and somehow drew.

Chelsea are equally frustrating to their fans. There are similarities in the two sides. Albeit they have the greater quality and we're attacking pitifully so I expect them to shut us out with ease and there's no way a Fofana-less defence is shutting them out. Chelsea to nil feels like printing money.

It’s ok saying Rodgers as done ok at Chelsea since he’s been here. Biggest difference now is Chelsea are playing good football bar at Leeds whilst we have been plain crap.

we have no identity on the pitch. Vardy may as well be in the stands eating hotdogs with service he is getting. Rest of the team are boring the pants off me with the pita pata football.

Problem is we and Rodgers need a win more then ever

- Fofana training with the 23s and will not be considered for selection- yes he wants to go- club dealing with finances-  better if it was done earlier- blah blah blah

- Still no incomings expected unless something changes late in the window

- difficult time - hard not to affect the group but im in charge of the football side and have to get the best out of players I have and concentrate on that

- I need to respect the club when they say no finances available

- iv got a Great relationship with chairman and board

- Tielemans acting very professionally

- no new injuries- same squad

END

Think we just get ran ragged by Chelsea this weekend, they will be bang up for it after the loss at Leeds. Think we will score mind you.

I’d like to see:

                      Iversen

Castagne Evans Soyuncu Justin

                 Ndidi    KDH

Albrighton    Maddison      Barnes

                       Vardy

It will be 5-3-2 with Vardy and Barnes up top. Ward in goal.
