He's actually less ignorant because he's not fussed by this absurd theatre mate ;)

Why comment if not fussed....shameful imo

Unless they make them close the pubs too.

I don't drink, but I still recognise that to be a really bad idea it will make a lot of people very angry and will be widely regarded as a bad move. :P

I assume if all the matches are postponed this weekend that they’ll all be rescheduled for midweek. Go ahead with them.

:plancque:

I can see that as well, but it seems pointless. What difference does a few days make and it’s still just as disruptive to peoples plans.

We should have a minute's applause on the 96th minute.

Only utd and Liverpool will be able to do this,  if they are not winning that is

It is very sad that this forum comes to this on the passing of the greatest monarch that will ever live in any country.

We are nasty and aggressive towards each other, why?

It's tradition in this country to show respect when something like this happens. Regardless of your view, without tradition we become boring and lose our identity (ring any bells). This place highlights everything that is wrong with social media. Keyboard warriors with no respect for anything except their own views and feelings

If the game is postponed so be it, they could even postpone the Tottenham one too. If they do they do, don't get angry about it ffs.

God save the king.

Or alternatively, without questioning traditions we become subservient and lose our identity. Your post highlights everything that is wrong with social media. A post berating others for not sharing your own view and feelings.

I don’t wish death on anyone, certainly not a woman with a family and I understand it’s devastating for her family and friends, but cancelling public events and only playing depressing songs on the radio for 2 weeks across the entire country for someone who inherited her job by birth is absolutely silly in 2022. Don’t really see what’s wrong with pointing it out, feels like a perfectly valid thing to be questioning that tradition to me.

I understand the significance of what has happened, but there is an opportunity there to play the national anthem before kick off and pay respects together instead of sitting in silence all weekend.
