He’s absolutely dreadful. Never rated him, can’t defend. Lacks concentration too. Can pick out a pass to vestergaard and winks though.

If we had someone like Kasper on the pitch they'd give him a dressing down there and then for his "defending" for the goal. These gorms just clap him on the back and stroll back for kick off.

He got a free ride last season on a technicality. Gets an even easier gig this season… doesn’t even need to defend at this level courtesy of the tactics deployed, yet on the rare occasion a team decides to have half a go, he’s missing every, single, time. 
 

Whichever level we operate at next season I just hope he’s nowhere near it.

traced back to Hamza or Faes not doing the basics of defending properly.

Now that Hamza’s been dropped it looks like Faes is taking sole responsibility

I’m not as big a critic as many on here. In fact I think his problem is sometimes trying to influence the game and losing his discipline as a result.

 

HOWEVER. The 3/4 pace lazy way he ran from the halfway line, allowing the attacker to get in the area before he then pedalled backwards was absolutely appalling defending. Arrogant and lazy defending in fact. Really annoyed me tonight!

Out for the season I think
