I know we sat back and invited them on, but we didn't give much away at all- can't remember them having a clear cut chance.

The target was being out of the relegation zone by the world cup and we've smashed it. All of a sudden we're looking up the table, and there's a lot of teams up there who you'd expect to drop off as the season goes on...

At half time I thought they would score as they were picking space and seemed like they had about 5 number 10s playing but the lads defended brilliantly.

What a signing Wout has been and Amartey and Ward are like different players, definitely didn’t think they had these performances in them to be honest

Well, given our start, I thought we really needed 4 points from the last two games despite them being away from home. We’ve got 6, which is an excellent return.

The main thing is now that it’s a new start after the World Cup. We can’t afford another start like we had at the beginning of the season. We’ve climbed one mountain this season to haul ourselves out of it. It’s unlikely we’d be able to climb two.

Bloody hell! We are absolutely mint away from home at the moment! Lets play every game away. Well done lads and credit to Brendan for finally committing to a more pragmatic approach and playing to our strengths.

4 points clear of the relegation zone and quite a few piss poor teams below us.

We're in a good place.

There are also quite a few piss poor teams above us!

Someone started a thread about making seventh, but I am starting to think it is in the cards (and winning the League Cup, just to be safe ).

I couldn't find a stream, but by the sound of things, it was an ugly win, but those goals were sublime (and a missed penalty, to boot.) Means there are things to work on during the break, and hopefully we come out stronger.

Shameless self-promotion: I am hosting a pub quiz at the 1852 Brewery Co. in Wigston on Sunday Nov. 13 at 8pm. C'mon down.

Best win of the season. We were murdered in the second half but defended brilliantly. The pass from Perez was eye wateringly brilliant, and the finish from Barnesy was superb. A massive win, and dare I say it, "we are staying up"

The new defence coach must be the best person at his job on earth, Beats 7 billion others

Actually this game was a really good test of character and metal steel. We looked wobbly after madders went off but hung in there until things settled down. Credit to all the players for putting the graft in during that tense period. This is what good teams do they ride out the storm and then hit back once they regain composure.

Can someone tell me who is our goalkeeper and what have they done with the old Danny ward? Amazing!

I’m loving the clean sheets more than the goals - we’d have crumbled under that pressure not too long ago. Amartey and Thomas in a clean sheet back 4???!!! Our goal difference will be an extra point - season still looks tight to me as lots of teams who could go on a good or bad run yet.
