2. Ted Kaczynski

3. Caren Marsh Doll

4. Eve Marie Saint

5. Gianluca Vialli

Under 40 Bonus - Normani

Ahead of his time. The kind of unique for the time corruption/neoliberal economics mix he introduced to Italy in the 90s has been become familiar in many countries including the UK.

Cormac McCarthy dies aged 89.  Perhaps my favourite author of all time even if The Road and Blood Meridian were suffering incarnate.  Such an unusual writing style that really worked once you'd zoned into it.  I've always been snooty of US literature proven by absolute garbage like Hemmingway and Melville being held in high regard over there, but Cormac has now doubled my approved US author list and joins Steinbeck at joint top.  As an aside, one of my follys is collecting fine print literature which are almost all signed by the artists.  Cormac famously refused to sign anything and I believe he left a few signed editions to his son.

Genuinely gutted at his passing and I'll put myself through hell and re-read his works for the nth time.  RIP.

I remember him from some the rivalry games between Leeds and Chelsea back in the day.

I remember him more as a manger tbh

I didn't realise Chris Hollins who did the sport on BBC breakfast and won Strictly was his son
