weller54 Posted 16 January 2023 Posted 16 January 2023 Feeling more optimistic for this one... Think we'll score. 1-4 hammering though. 4
LVFox Posted 16 January 2023 Posted 16 January 2023 Might be completely wrong, especially if Praet/KDH are fit but I can actually see Rodgers going to 5-3-2 for this. Think we see Brunt rather than Soyuncu though.
kingkisnorbo Posted 16 January 2023 Posted 16 January 2023 Feeling a bit more optimistic about this for some reason. 1-3. 2
Guest Col city fan Posted 16 January 2023 Posted 16 January 2023 The reality is we’ll be playing against currently on of the best teams in the Premiership.
TeamRocket Posted 16 January 2023 Posted 16 January 2023 4-1 to them and Rodgers saying how epic it is to get a goal as that's some sort of positive when u lose the game
STUHILL Posted 16 January 2023 Posted 16 January 2023 Not winning this. Confidence is rock bottom. No new signings yet. Players still injured. Brighton in form. Could get ugly. 3-0 loss
foxes_rule1978 Posted 16 January 2023 Posted 16 January 2023 Easy win for Brighton I’m afraid, 3 or 4 nil
fox_up_north Posted 16 January 2023 Posted 16 January 2023 It's football so anything can happen. 9-0 Brighton, continuing a theme from previous encounters with south coast teams. 1
chris_lcfc_85 Posted 17 January 2023 Posted 17 January 2023 Ward Amartey Faes Soyuncu Albrighton Praet Mendy Tielemans Castagne Iheanacho Vardy 4
FoxyJim1987 Posted 17 January 2023 Posted 17 January 2023 Literally not one part of me thinks we will get anything out of this game. If he trudges up the same Barnes Albrighton Vardy front 3 and Perez and or KDH aren't fit it could be an absolute landslide loss. Mitoma has gone in my fantasy team, and Brighton are the total opposite of us right now, fun to watch, confident, inventive and full of quality.

Brunt or Vestergaard or Castagne would be the 3rd centre back. God help us.
phoneticerror Posted 17 January 2023 Posted 17 January 2023 I’ve never bet against us, but maybe if I whack a tenner on Brighton we might actually win.
dannythefox Posted 17 January 2023 Posted 17 January 2023 3-1 Brighton. No chance of winning this. Bye Brenden

nnfox Posted 17 January 2023 Posted 17 January 2023 We're just going to have to try and outscore them. If we want goals, then we need Iheanacho. If we play Iheanacho, we need a second striker. That can be Vardy or Daka, I don't mind - sub one for the other on 60 minutes. Pack the midfield to deny them space, meaning 3 at the back. Brendan - if you're reading, you can have that for free. Good luck.

Been glaringly obvious for so long to play Kelechi with another striker but Rodgers never wants to change from his plan A which clearly is shit
Hales Posted 17 January 2023 Posted 17 January 2023 Kel has to start with either Daka or Vardy and then they swap for the second half. Mendy over Ndidi. I'd play Cags too, don't chuck Brunt in again. Praet to start too. We need to control midfield for once and be clinical. They better have their shooting boots on this week and be working theirs butts off in training.
